Well, you see, the next list will start as soon as the current one ends. And the current one will only end as fast as people get off their asses and actually review some comics.
If you've never reviewed a comic on this forum, you don't really have a right to complain.
So the faster you review, the faster you can sign up!
Come on, people. It should not take weeks to get 3 reviews per comic. Maaaaan.

I ask that you at least try.
As it says in the review guidelines, you don't have to be a comic guru to review other's comics. The opinions of the average comic reader are just as important as those of the big fancy critics. Just try to collect all your thoughts on a comic, maybe break it up into what you think about the art, what you think about the writing, and write down some good and bad points for each. That would be enough. It's just that reviews that are less than a paragraph are just comments, and those should stay on a comic's DD page, not here in the review forum.
So just put a little effort into it okay? That's all I want.

A new review thread! Oh joys! Reviewing other comics I haven't done in a while. XD I often just click on other comics on a random moment and start reading, posting comments on random pages. :) Quite fun when you've got time to spare.
Sadly I don't read sprite comics at ALL. :/ Tasteless. Ones I've skimmed through before have been horrible and I think I lost some brain cells. @.@ I've seen... maybe ONE sprite comic that has been worth my time.
Anyways, I better go do some reviewing, huh? ;)

I'm just going to come out and say it, if the person hasn't updated in 3 or more months, can we just skip them? It doesn't motivate us to review a comic that has been dead since June.

I would argue that the artist may still want advice on their work, reguardless of how long ago it was drawn.
Also, with HUNDREADS of users on this forum, right now, at least three people should be able to review a comic, reguardless of how crappy it may be.
Man I can't wait for the next review list. It will be GLORIOUS.

Maybe if they're still updating another comic they could still be reviewed, but if they haven't updated any comic in 3 months we could skip them...

There are situations in which I would still want a comic to be reviewed, such as if the comic is a finished work, or if the comic is paticularly amazing, but yeah, 3 month sounds about right to skip a comic.

I have a question!
What if you've completed a comic, that hasn't been reviewed since it started? I have a comic that I completed back in November of 2006 and I've got another comic that follows it. But BD hasn't been reviewed since it started and improvements have been done! Why can't it be reviewed? :/

I don't quite understand what you're saying. Telling me which comics you're talking about (as well as linking to them) would probably help.

http://www.drunkduck.com/Boogey_Dancing/index.php?p=4455 I finished this comic back in November, but it hasn't been reveiwed since early last year when it first started. What if I'd like to get a review over the improvements it's made and perhaps some pointers for future improvements? Can it still get reviewed or no? :/

You could put Boogey Dancing up for review on the next list, yeah. I don't see any problem with that.

Wow, only 12 comics left to go! At the rate they've been getting reviewed, that'll have the list done in no time. ^_^

How do I get on the reviewer and reviewee lists? There are some comics here on the Duck that I read and feel deserve to get the attention a review would give them. When is sign up?

Anyone can review comics. There is no list of reviewers.
The list of comics to be reviewed is not accepting new comics until the current list is finished.

A very seriously unserious super hero comic that can be pretty serious when it wants to be. Really!
I Speak Louder Than Words
My dream journal. Probably wont float everyone's boat since its kind of esoteric and peculiar rather than a linear story about characters.

Generally i think people need to make LONGER reviews. Some of the latest reviews for some comics are pretty damn short.
I'm getting a feeling that some of you are writing two reviews in a rush to get your comic up for review?
For shame..

I think people rushed the latest reviews to get those comics out of the way already... Also, I think people were tired of reviewing comics for people who haven't made anything for 6 months.

It's a comic!
