I still haven't bothered either. Not that I watch TV anyway.
I'll probably finally get a big flat LCD thing with it all built in, rather than have yet another box connected up via spaghetti.

but wow , feb 2009 , that's so soon. i thought it was gunna be much later than that. i think its 2011 here in japan , but i really dont know , i have four computers in the house and one old tv that came with the house and i rarely ever turn it on .

I'm pretty sure it's also 2011 in Canada. But I haven't turned on our tv in years anyways.

hahahah , i had no idea what this thread was about until i watched the vid,
kinda makes me wonder how they got this old lady to make fun of old people like that .
people treat the old tv sets here are like lepers . i see them piled up in the bushes and under bridges . it's so weird , i dont think thrift stores will even take them and you have to pay the trash man something like 20$ to haul it away . that's why people just leave them on the side of the road late at night.

I also am in the 'don't watch tv' crowd. Haven't had a television hooked up to cable or aerial for three and a half years. I do own a 50" 120 hz LCD--but that's hooked up to my Blueray player. I confess...I like movies. However, I did have to help my mother-in-law hook up her digital conversion box...gah...what a pain in the AAAA!!!
