Durant the long time that I've been away, I practiced. According to me, I only got SLIGHTLY better, and I'd like it if you're able to see the difference and menton it to me... or just comment on my picture. Please be polie in your comment- I'm not a good artist:

Here's my old comic: ( READ IT THE NORMAL WAY.)

http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c95/Cryswolf/My%20handmade%20spirites%20and%20drawings/02-03.png ( click only if you cannot see the drawing above.)

I didn't made that background by myself, allright? >..< SO LONG! ( to color/blur) To be honest, I think the blurring of the snake sucks. I outcha give it a new color and style who won't take me 1 day to do. And look... :D BACKGROUND! I know it's not good, but At least I'm practing. Yes, there's many error, but at least I got better at this stuff.

Can you spot the difference, or not? Be honest.

The tone and depicitons in the pictures are so different it's hard to tell, but they deffinately look drawn by the same guy to be honest.

It's usually easier to tell these things when you redraw an old piece. I honestly can't find much of a difference.
That's "Dr. BlkKnight" to all of you.

Sure, I can tell there's improvement. In the 2nd pic, you actually tried for human anatomy and facial structure. Keep practicing, and reference genuine art books, not How To Draw Manga books.

FIGHT_2 current chapter: Light Years of Gold

What's wrong with how do draw manga books? I noticed they work for that style. And at this point the guy really can go any way he wants with it.

Back on topic.

Honestly I notice you seem to do more with the latest page but besides that the style seems basically the same. Like BlkKnight said, It's easier to tell these things when you redraw an old piece. Maybe if you tried that we'd be able to give you better opinions?

Or steal all of ShinGen's comics rewrite the dialogue and call it your own. That's legal. Right?

But yes, I agree with the bunch. Try and redraw somefin for us.

A beginner artist shouldn't try to draw manga before he learns how to draw things properly. All he ends up with is badly drawn manga which stunts his growth because "it looks good enough." No, it doesn't look good enough. It looks ugly and it looks hackneyed.

After a beginner learns how to draw from life, then he can stylize.

Oh okay I was under the impression you thought they didn't work or something. I see your point now. Valid one at that.

Oh and Sid,

LOL. I think I'm going to make a strip about someone doing that! That would be awesome. Just jack someones work and replace everything with insults. XD

Due to people's demands, I will re-draw the first picture I showed.

Also... in my second picture, it wasn't going to be a manga, but after drawing it and giving them texts, I noticed that it makes more sense if I read it like manga style, so I said, 'Hm. Duh.'

Okay, the sketch is sone. It only needs coloring, it'll be ready in 5-10 minutes, depend on how detailed my drawing is, and how much blur it needs.

Okay, here's it. The oldie and the newbie.
Oldie: Only 4 small panels, and a large, colorful background. >.<
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c95/Cryswolf/My%20handmade%20spirites%20and%20drawings/02-03.png

Newbie: A more balanced mini-comic, in color and detail. :3 Also, check out my totally failure at blurring and at shadows. ooooo.
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c95/Cryswolf/My%20handmade%20spirites%20and%20drawings/02-03new.png

Well.... Since it's new, it's improved, so there may be new texts, new panels, ect... click at your risk.

I wish I could shut off the voices in my head. ESPECIALLY since one is Sid and one is Garret. But the voices I REALLY want gone are the freaking yodelling ones. It does not please me that inside my head echoes.

The only thing about the newer one is that you got better at anatomy. That's pretty much it.

It kinda looks the same otherwise.
Updates Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday's (depends).

How far apart are they? Few days apart? Few weeks? Months? I can see a bit of a stylistic difference, though it would be helpful if there were drawings of the same thing/characters. I agree with Mlai, you should try drawing from life. It helps out more than you'd think. Also, I really really don't mean for this the be a cheap shot but I think going for a manga-style reading order was a step back.

Hmm... your art looks like it's done on Paint. I wouldn't recommend using Paint for hand drawn comics unless you have excellent skills with lineart and color. Perhaps my suggestion would be use a better software for your drawing such as Gimp which can be downloaded free online.
