The "Long Description" of my comic says I have 9985 characters left, but every time I type, my browser gives me a pop-up window that tells me I've reached the maximum allowed, and it deletes the characters I was typing.
Help please!

it's a known bug.

If it's a known bug, can we get an estimate on how long it will be before the issue is address? I'm not in any particular funk over the whole thing, but I'd love to be able to put it in my calendar reminders to check the issue in "x amount of time" and not worry about it until then...

you'd have to ask volte6 for an eta on fixes. you might want to check

I took the liberty of emailing skoolmunkee (hope I spelled that right) and I was told that volte6 has lots on his plate right now. It will probably be a while before this bug is seen to, because it's not something that affects the overall operation of the site. SO, if you're just desperate to get that long description up where people can see it, you might write it as a .txt and then upload it to your "files" area for the comic. Then, post the link in the long description slot, and walla - instant long des, without that annoying reminder that we've reached a limit that shouldn't exist.
This is what I'm doing, anyway - though I actually saved mine as a jpg so I could make it pretty.
Don't know exactly if it will work correctly, but I'm hoping it will. It doesn't transfer as a link itself this way, but if people want to read it they can always copy/paste.
I'm afraid I stink at coding, so this is as good as the solution gets, at least from my mind.
