Welcome to the DD Review Thread. This is the place where you sign up to have your comic reviewed.

To sign up, post the name of your comic and the full address. Please don't just say, "it's in my sig" because then I have to search for it and it's just a pain.

No actual reviews take place in this thread. All reviews take place in seperate threads I (or anyone else I give authority to) titled "DD Review Thread of Comic Name".

The comic that needs reviews will have (CURRENT REVIEW) next to it. A comic needs at least three reviews before we can move on to the next comic. But rememeber that you can always review a comic, even when it's no longer the current review.
DO NOT SIGN UP IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 20 PAGES IN YOUR ARCHIVE. Any less than 20 is simply not enough to review. Not enough raw material to produce constructive reviews.

REVIEW GUIDELINES

ANYONE CAN REVIEW COMICS. You don't have to be a comic god or an amazing artist to write a review. Critics aren't the only people who read comics, and their opinion is just as useful as the opinion of the average joe.

PUT EFFORT INTO YOUR REVIEWS. Do not write one line reviews, such as "I love it" or "I hate it". That is what the DD comment system is for. I expect reviews to be at least a pargraph. It's also a good idea to link to references to help prove the points you make in your review.

DON'T BE AFRAID TO BE MEAN. People signing up for this should expect honest critiques to come their way. At the same time, don't flame. Give logical reasons for why you don't like something.

NO NON REVIEW POSTS IN REVIEW THREADS. You are not allowed to comment directly on other people's reviews, the nature of the comic outside of a critical standpoint, or on the comic's author. Stick to the discussion of the comic, only. (Note: if you are the author of the comic being reviewed, you are allowed to respond, but if you start a flame war or whine a lot I will shut you up.)

Finally, comics waiting to be reviewed MUST review other comics. As long as we keep a steady stream of reviews coming, I won't have to complain about this. So everybody do some reviews, okay? Really, this is becoming a serious issue, and I'll start enforcing it if I have to, which means all of you not yet reviewed could have your turns held back until you write reviews of your own. So review, damn it.

I would like to sign www.sonicandpals.com up for review, it's a long running sonic sprite cartoon, running for 2 years with a new comic each day (currently 780 comics up, 12/30/05). Family friendly humor, with tons of extras aboard. Average hits per date, around 350 (highest was 483). Ummm other than that, check it out for yourselves, some even rated it as good if not better than bobandgeorge.com.

I only got like two replies the last time I put up Detective Fork for review and I followed the advice I received about maintaining a cleaner archive. I'm hoping I might get some more opinions on the actual comic this time. :-)

ARG. Please post the address and name of your comic in the actual message. It says right up in the rules, "Don't just say 'it's in my sig" cuz I enter huge numbers of these requests into the list at once, and having to search to make sure I have the address and title of your comic correct is just aggrivating.

Also, Aussie_Kid, you can't have both comics reviewed. Pick one and then wait a while to sign up for your second try later.
