Overall I really like this comic. It's a gamer comic, nothing really new, but it talks about stuff in my area of knowledge. Plus with comics like these there's no real reason to establish the characters all that much. Still, you DO establish them enough. That's a good thing.
The whole ongoing thing with the ladder is funny, and the gamer jokes and obsession with Super Smash Bros. is something I understand. The main problem with the comic is the art. It's good enough so that we can tell the differences in the characters, and it's good enough to carry the story, but it could still be worked on. You need to practice making the style look more refined. Penny Arcade and PVP are prime examples of refined yet simple styles.
Anyway, pretty decent comic. I'll be waiting for more of it.

It's a funny comic, and i have a personal weakness for gaming comics. But agreed, the art style could be a bit better *is probably not one to talk..*. I like the thought put into the jokes though. Keep that up. A comic is only as good as it's content!

This thread's quiet. *Too* quiet.
Which is quite unfair really, as I think Unmature has many positive qualities.
The jokes featured in the comic are good - I can't recall any strip where I didn't at least chuckle, and there are some that I just couldn't stop giggling at . And, of course, there's the odd *sprinkling* of toilet humour.
The dialogue is believable - after all, it's a Videogame comic, starring gamers, talking about games. The characters are all distinct, developed enough to have their own personalities and responses, but without epic background stories - which is good, as it makes any single isolated strip taken on it's own a good laugh. The Ladder is a good recurring joke though, and is definitely funnier if you've read the previous strips.
The art is good, I think - if it conveys the joke well, it's good enough. I don't think anyone can say their particular style is perfect, however, so there's always room for improvement there. You're already showing signs of developing your strip beyond what it started out to be (compare that strip with this strip ), you just need to keep it up.
All in all, a rather good comic. I look forward to seeing more of it.

While I never got into the big, popular gaming genre comics, I really enjoyed this. I do love a lot of the games mentioned in this so nothing really went over my head. I especially liked the Smash Bros. and Mario Kart references, having spent quite a bit of time on those in the past (ah fond memories) and I always love a good SSBM joke.
Writing: Humorous and appropriate dialogue for the comic's main subject, gaming, without resorting to cliches and leet speak (much appreciated!)
The discussion about the Nintendo Wii was one that especially had me laughing...the inuendo in that was perfectly pulled off.
A few pages might offend particular people (I'm sure you know which one I mean too) but of course what would one expect with the title, right? :D
The running joke with the ladder is very clever, oddly the ladder is one of my favorite characters at the moment.
Art: Not bad at all, it is clearly becoming more consistent and refined and the colors are looking pretty good. The character designs are great and it's easy to tell everyone apart. Every once in a while the lineart appears a little fuzzy, which I'm pretty sure can be attributed to resizing (I could be wrong) but it's nothing too major and really not that noticable.
You don't abuse copy/paste all the time and that's fantastic, for that's a reason I couldn't get into some of the more popular gaming comics out there for a time. I enjoy the gaming parodies and you draw the cameo characters well.
There's not much of background in most of the black and white ones, but it's nothing major, I don't see them as necessary at that point. The color pages however do well with the backgrounds and a few props here and there to set the stage for the characters. Even without backgrounds it was pretty easy to tell whether they were at work or at home (the posters helped) and even the photographic backgrounds weren't too bad.
Definite improvement in almost every aspect in the art, but from the looks of the first comic you started off pretty well with a consistant design.
As for the coloring, simple flat colors work pretty well with the lineart.
Overall: I enjoyed it quite a bit, it takes a minute for pages to load for me (aol, blah) so it took longer than usual but I enjoyed it enough to keep going. And I hope you enjoy doing the comic enough to keep going too, I'll be keeping an eye on it!
