I really like the original style of this comic.

My god, it's a sprite comic, but I actually like it!
Of course I've always been easier on Pokemon comics above all else because I'm a big fan of the Pokemon games and there's a lot I'd like to see done with them. Also I played Pokemon Emerald this summer so I get all the jokes (like the fact that the guy is sketching his own footprints, but he wouldn't let you pass in the game before that).
However with speech bubbles stop using such bright colors. If you're going to color a bubble red, color it a very light red. It's makes it much easier to read. I actually liked the white speech bubbles.
Anyway, this comic is an example of what sprite comics should be. Dialogue that gets spellchecked and actually has words that are more than one syllable, a plot, reoccurring characters, and none of those stupid sprite comic cliches like author insertion. Some good jokes too.
However, with battles, can't you just skip them? Like, tell us who wins but not actually DO the battles. That's just dull.
Anyway the big problem I have with this comic is it's progression. We need more plot and less babbling from these characters. Keep things fresh. Maybe throw Giovanni back in there as he's starting back up Team Rocket or something. Something cool anyway.
But a better-than-average sprite comic by far.

Huh! Wow! Yeah, I agree, a sprite comic that doesn't suck.
Visually, it's very well put together, no resolution-mixing that I could tell, looks very much like it's straight out of Pokémon. Commendable. I was a little annoyed by the darker speech bubbles, but I think the color-coding made it a lot easier to tell who was saying what, since the screens often get quite crowded with people and text. Very well done overall.
The writing is really good. I haven't played the later Pokémon games, but I can sense the in-jokes and whatnot, very well planned and executed. The characters are well developed, the dialogue feels natural, the plot is original yet not ridiculous...all in all an exceptional sprite comic.

This a a diamond in the rough, one of the very few sprite comics that got me reading through the whole archive. The grammar good (although I was a bit put off by the constant use of 'father'), the layout is superb and you actually put in some character in some of the...characters. It's also a good story, it actually kinda of let me want to read on (although I am a Pokémon fan-boy).
I do have a problem with the progression as well. 55 pages and we're still on the first chapter. We haven't reached Rustboro yet! Rustboro!
Still, I do like the idea of a PokéMMOn (Look, a pun!).
I'll keep on checking this out.
Probability of me hunting you down and shooting your with a cross-bow on the suckiness of your comic: 5%
Good work.

Now I keep telling people this, but wouldn't it be great is someone made a sprite comic about Giovanni and his rise and eventual tragic fall in the world? If I knew how to do sprites and all that I would TOTALLY make that comic.

WOW XDDD
Sprites: You edited your sprites so they don't look like cheap rip-offs!!! Wow! This is the first sprite comic so far!!! Good job!
Story: It's good, and it's pretty different from other sprite comics that do Pokemon. I laughed at some of the parts, and sometimes you bring out good points about the game.
So, basically, this sprite comic is good! (Wow! A sentence with 'sprite comic' and 'good'!!!) Yay! I only read half of it, but I'm going to read more :D

I agree with everyone else so far on this comic.
it's actually in my favorite list.
I also want to see something more exciting happen.. like how would those guys react to team rocket? something I've been wondering.
