Okay, here's my review. I'll try and review every single comic that comes by here. So yeah, let's see...
First Impressions- Nice site design. It's easy to find the comic, easy to manever from page to page, and you have a nice menu where I can find the pages in. Plus is seems like you designed the whole site yourself. I like the setup. It works.
Art- Pretty damn good. Not to say there aren't problems. The coloring seems to be a combo of computer colors and colored pencil. Most of the time that works, sometimes it doesn't look great. Also your lettering, although in a good font, sometimes is in HORRIBLE colors like the font on this page: http://www.keepersoftheforestcomics.com/Page_57x.html A black typeface with a white stroke around it would have looked much better and would be much easier to read. But overall I like the art a lot. You use a variety of camera angles and things are mostly in the proper proportion. Although sometimes the color eclipses the lines, which doesn't look good. But other times there are very awesome colors like on this page: http://www.keepersoftheforestcomics.com/Page_68x.html So yeah, interesting. Many complex coloring jobs.
Writing- I'm not a huge fan of fantasy comics with tribes and ancient languages and treasure hunts, but this one is pretty good. The characters are based off of your normal stereotypes: The brash, young, handsome adventurer, the brilliant young, reluctant scholar, and the beautiful, mysterious, helpful lady. But it still works out. The pacing of the story is very good, and the storytelling is nice. However you have these cliche's in the story, like where they go inside the temple place, and they say "Oh the warning doesn't apply to us anymore". And then something bad happens. That's got to be the oldest trick in the book. But Chapter 2 ends well. Good job with the dramatic stuff.
HOWEVER you leave off there, with the rest of your chapters unavailable to us. This makes this more of a preview of a published comic, like companies do, then a web-comic which is presented on the web at all times. I'm dissapointed about that, but I suppose it's good for business. Anyway, I enjoyed this comic.

O_o This is going to be hard to critic....
Art: DAMN nice. Nice style...(it reminds me of something, can't quite put my finger on it). Though nothing really JUMPS at me at first sight, I can tell that you're really good but....hard to explain. The coloring has a very "natural" feel to it. I like. Like ccs said, sometimes the text looks strange...and sometimes I see colors or textures looking out of place or clashing with one another...but I haven't seen anything unbearable. There isn't much else I can say except keep up the goodness. O_o
Story: WELL! Second chapter and there's the tomb! XP Anyway, what you have so far seems to be interesting, are you not showing the other chapters on the net? Good dialogue, perhaps a bit chatty at times. Also yes, there is a bit of cliche...but cliche can be a good thing, just try to avoid over-doing it with the characters in the future...but mostly good good good. o_o
Overall: You're better at this than me.
P.P.S. I edit my reviews too much.

Damn, that's what I was going to say. But here we go:
ART: It's good! Really good. Your linework is unbeatable, but I can't say the same for the coloring. It makes it more interesting, though. looks Kinda like David Willis's Shortpacked (http://www.shortpacked.com/) but better of course. HOWEVER. You seem to have a problem with compression. It's pixellated, and while it's still easy to read, it just looks really bad. It doesn't hurt to compress things a little less, but then again this is coming from a guy whose largerst comic is 900KB large.
STORY: It's interesting! However, like CCS said, it's a fantasy setting with your usual set of well-known travellers. I'm not much of a fan for that stuff, but it would keep someone who is into it coming back. Good job.
SITE DESIGN: I can't say I like it. A black background is a sad background. You should use a decent color scheme instead. Try using a color wheel. And make sure you take the border off hyperlinked images. It's a bit difficult to navigate as well.

 Hah! You guys are great! I cherish the 'work on that' as much as the compliments. Yes, I built my own site and considering that I'm a computer dud, I think it turned out okay--but always looking for ways to improve.
The entire first chapter has rescanned and recolored. The purpose being that it will soon be availabe in print. There was also a five page prologue that was done. (Not seen on the web....at least not yet. In the future--who knows?) I'm much happier with the recoloring and some writing changes have been made too.
The comic was started before I got my photoshop program and my tablet. It's an evolution project that I'm grateful that I got the chance to do. If you want to see a current comic that I'm working on and a example of my current work, go here. http://www.keepersoftheforestcomics.com/Page_11x.html
Characters. Yeah, they're typical. It didn't seem apparent to me at first, but there you are. I'll try and work on that in the future!
Again, many thanks for your help!! LM
