Funbox of Fun Review:
Funbox is literally one of my favorite comics on DD/NightGig and is actually on my Top 10 list of favorite webcomics.
Intro:
Funbox pokes fun at all kinds of cultural references. Some jokes may go way over your head if you're not well informed, and other's everyone can get. I like that. It makes you feel smart. Funbox is finally beginning to build a story, based around RPGish characters, but that's still funny. Cliche, but he's telling it in his own unique way.
Graphics:10
The art is good. Funbox has a very stylized look. One of my favorite things is how many comics look different. He experiments with styles.
Replayability: 9
You can always go back and read the archive. Which is building up.
Controls: 8
The webpage is a little cluttered, but that's forgivable.
I enjoy it.
But it may not be for everyone.

I read this comic before it went up for review because Cory is always around the forum and I very much enjoyed his Monkeys In Space animation (which I think i'll watch again after this review). The Funbox is a bunch of crazy stuff. Not exactly sure what it's trying to do...exactly. But I suppose it's an experimental comic. Most of Cory's stuff seems to be experimental these days.
I have to say it sort of reminded me of KC Green's stuff, which I am a fan of. That super sketchy but still tightly pulled together-enough style works well here. The latest stuff has some ongoing plot but it's mostly been stand alone. And it's interesting and fun to read.
Not really sure of the intent and not really much to critique as far as storylines, but it's fun. I like it. And just keep the art up. You're good.

Even though I would normally take anything PrincessJen says with a grain of salt (HAH! Joking. His comic's just not for me), I would have to agree.
This comic is not great.
This comic is not good.
This comic is not passable.
It just... goes NOWHERE. It's not funny, it's not original, and the art just doesn't make sense. There's nothing special about this comic, then again White Ninja is, for some incredibly odd reason, popular, so I have no idea how this will turn out.
I don't like this comic, in case you haven't gotten the gist.

ART
The style is fun and fancy free. It really is a lot like KC Green's stuff in terms of some obvious skill beneath layer of crazy. Things like that last panel in the worm boy comic show that you do in fact know what you're doing. Your expressions are great too, varied and exagerated. That pig's angry face, man, that was great. The talking heads don't thrill me art wise. They seem way to conventional compared to the wacky freedom of the other black and white strips. Overall though it's pretty unique and interesting. Good job.
WRITING
This comic is really, really random. And I like that. I love how the comics just go totally off the wall, and how I can rarely predict the ending. I gotta say though, I'm not digging this storyline thing so far. The early random black and white ones, and some of the colored ones where much funnier. I guess I'll wait to see how it progresses.
OVERALL
Great for fans of random humor and wacky art. The gross comics turn me off a bit, but that's just not my sort of humor. I'm sure some people love it. Keep at it.

I appreciate the reviews, and the honesty. I also accept that certain people may not enjoy the comic...it's just...not for everyone, and I understand that.
As for the RPG/Fantasy style story-line...it will be continued over time, but I think I'm going to go with a "Sexy Losers" style comics placing and just riddle everything with story lines over a long period of time (Ctrl+Alt+Del also sometimes does this) and myabe put some links to a "Full view" of just a story plot.
