Wooooooooooow

Artwork: Very clean. I like it. And the character designs are pretty good. Maybe a little too typical, but still pretty good. But it could use shading, and more backgrounds. There are some panels which could use some backgrounds.

Storyline: Pretty good. Ninjas are slowly fading away these days. They're mostly into pirates... (Damn nonbelievers...) Well, a ninja lover would love this story, I know that as a fact, but it didn't really make me wanna read it all the way through. It was okay...

Layout: The layout was great. Very understandable.

I'd say that this comic is really good. It would be absolutely awesome if you just added a little more into it.

This year, school's full of BS!!!

ART: 8/10
I like the art and character designs. Theyre a little cheezy, but they really make parts of the story more entertaining. The black and white style is fine, although in some places it was kind of an eyesore with the black lines to represent shades and such. It gives it more of that manga feel which is perfectly fine for a ninja story. The art is also pretty smooth and flows well. Even the proportions of everyone are pretty good. I like it.

STORY: 7/10
The story is a little silly even for a ninja parody story. I, for one, am a little tired of ninja cliches so I have to knock off some points, but as a parody its pretty good at pulling off a comedic ninja tale.

OVERALL: 7.5/10

If you like funny ninja stuff (I wish I could describe it differently but I can't), you'll probably love this. Its not on my favorites, but if I see it on the update list, I might take a look.

I am FS2 champion! w00t!!

This was just fun.

Art: The solid black and white is very well done. I like style it is simple in look and yet very well done. There could be more backgrounds though. Its not needed in every page put sometimes a lot of story can happen without any backgrounds. The panle work is creative and various allowing diffretn images to get diffrent amounts of attention as the story demands.

Story: This is fun. A story that both makes fun of and pays homage to Ninja stories and Action series. Goh is likable and interesting making it very easy to follow his story.

Overall: I really enjoy this one. Its one of my new favorites. If you enjoy action series, comedies, and Ninjas then you should definitely check this one out.

I have to argee with equinox...

the art works despite no backgrounds half the time, and is very simple for the black and white deal going on.. .yet still detailed enough in some instances to keep it from getting TOO boring...
in fact I don't think Ive seen one panel that screamed boring to me.

as for the story...at first it seems kinda clitched, but then you realize that it's not really being clitched, it's just making fun of the clitches out there.. and plus you get a more "normal" guy such as an fat guy as the hero. a plus.

and the action is excellent!

9/10, taking one away because I think it could be excellent in color, but other than that I think it's GREAT!
I'm on hitatus while I redo one of my webcomics. Be sure to check it out when I'n done! :)

I really dig this comic. Basically it's a nice and simple premise (Ninja defending people for low wages) but it's the characters that get to you. The FPN is a likeable guy. The girl hasn't been fleshed out TOO much but we still get enough info on her. As for the villains, they're crazy, which is good for a goofy comic.

I like the art. Nice and clean with good speech bubbles. And it has an ethnic twist (Japanese/Fillipino). Fight scenes are cool.

Yeah, I wish I could write a longer a review, but my long reviews are basically rants about mediocre comics, which this isn't. So...good job.

9/10

Hurray! A review!

Yes I need work with backgrounds but I think I'm getting there. Here's a little thing you didn't know: I was heavily influenced by Stan Sakai (Usagi Yojimbo) and Mike Mignola (Hellboy) so that explains the absence of grey tones. That also explains the heaviness on black and white. Most of the fighting sequences were influenced by action movies and video games.

I strongly intended the lack of backgrounds in some panels (take note of the word "some") because I want the reader to focus on the action and not to be distracted by the environment. I've seen too many artists who did very detailed and over-the-top art but it steers the reader away from the story. Despite the simplicity of backgrounds, I wish to compensate for it with story content which has always been the main life-force of good, entertaining comics. Besides, I've always been an entertainer more than an artist. ^^'

Thanks for reviewing FPN. I'm glad some of you enjoyed it. :)

This comic is sheer brilliance. Ninja's are such a blatant stereotype nowadays, but 'Fifty Peso Ninja' pulls it off extremely well.

The Story may seem cliche'd, starting with a girl being attacked by mobsters only to be saved by a daring (fat) ninja. The plot takes a turn for the quirkier side when the ninja demands paiment for the rescue. Filled with funny moments and a humorous use of kung-fu movie cliche's, fifty peso ninja has an awesomely funny story by any standard.

The art, while not exactly phenominal, is simple, easy to understand, and never gets too complex. It's very basic shadeless Black and White, which may have been a bit better with some color, but works fine as is.

PLOT: 9/10

HUMOR: 10/10

ART: 8/10

OERALL:9/10

Nice work dude.

This is a fun and enjoyable story that I came across when it got featured a while back.

Storyline: It has an American Superhero feel to it, while still staying in the traditional manga style. It's something you don't normally see in many comics that are drawn in manga-style, which makes it more original. And originality is always a big plus! - 10/10

Artwork: I like the artstyle. It's clean and fits the storyline. There is a lack of backgrounds, though, whether it was done intentionally or just lazyness (believe me, I hate drawing backgrounds at times, too XD). But the little things that the author adds to the art sort of drowns out the Cons to the lack of backgrounds. For instance, the little face on the main character's bandanna that changes facial expressions depending on the character's current mood is an awesome and humorous addition.
And I think it's awesome that the man character looks just like the author's photo :) He was born to be in comics! - 8.5/10

Overall: This is a fun story for anyone to get into. The classic humor is enjoyable, and the manga-style artwork also has a bit of a Western twist to it so it would be appealling to everyone. - 9.5/10

First review, I'll try my best!

This comic was really appealing, I mean c'mon! Its a fifty peso ninja! Who could go wrong?
As for the art, I liked it. It has manga influence but branched out into a different style (thank goodness!) I agree with Mr/Ms Anonymous on that the crosshatching could use a little work here and there, but it has gotten better. While I was reading I kind of felt like there wan't enough material on many of the pages. Many took only a few seconds to skim over, which means there wasn't enough interesting things to keep me busy. However, there were loads of gem pages, especially the cross-dressing mutant lizard from dimension Z. And page 34. http://www.drunkduck.com/The_Fifty_Peso_Ninja/index.php?p=107125 The "fade-out" panel is great :D
The story is great, very original. A homeless Filipino ninja superhero, budjet- priced ;D

I hope I did ok!

The comic is excellent, despite the fact that it looks like Naruto. The story is excellent and is funny just to think about. Even the title is funny! Although there's no background or color, the amazing appeal of the artistry and the funny story make up for it 10x over! The half-manga drawing kinda makes it better, because it's not actually manga. The action and fights are drawn to perfection! I give 50 Peso Ninja a 5 out of 5.
Glacius holding demon-metal daggers. Schweet.
