Fasinating. I like the old fashioned Gumshoe mystery. Inner monolouges and all.
Art:
The sytle is simple, but used very well. The use of grayscale only helps to further the illusion of an old movie. Some how, the use of uniform facial structures and body types work well for this one.
Plot:
Pretty much what you'd expect from a detective story: someone trying to solve a mystery. I like how the story is structured; the artist took his time to map out the story and script a smooth transition. It doesn't feel like it was thrown together at the last moment, or that the comic was drawn on a whim. Excellent work.
Cast:
I'm liking the cast of characters. They all have their own unique personalities and traits that set them apart and make them come to life.
Overall:
Great story so far. Actually looking forward to the conclusion. I Recommend it.
(9/10)

Ooh, a non-DD comic, eh? This one is definitely worth a gander... (yes, that was a horrible pun, but I thought it was funny).
Dada Detective is a good all-round solid comic. It's main downfall being bad navigation.
The artwork for DDD is consistant and drawn in a kind of 'neutral' cartoon style. Though it never spectacularly grabs you and makes you think 'this artwork rocks', it always looks neat, clean, well-drawn and easy to understand. The four panel layout gives me an 'Angel Moxie' vibe. Personally though, I feel that the four panel format doesn't nessesarily suit the comic that well. Occasional strips make use of the four panel format well for timing and punchlines, but often I was left feeling that some of this comic could be done better with larger, more involved pages or strips.
The plotline and dialogue are again, solid. A little old fashioned, but by being old fashioned, it manages to be very original on the internet, since though detective spoofs were all over the place when I was a kid, they're pretty rare nowadays. The humour uses wordplay and parody, and occasionally, inspired whimsical ideas or unexpected reveals. It's not only above average webcomic fare, but also manages to be funny while being safe and suitable for all ages. Very all-inclusive, no in-jokes or private jokes, it's a webcomic you could read with your little cousin and your gran, which can't be said of many webcomics I know.
The only big gripe I have with this comic is the navigation on the site. There are over 100 pages of this thing, but you have to read them all in one go if you want to catch up (which you have to, since it's storyline-based despite being in gag strip format) because there's no way to go into the archives and pick a specific strip. An archive page or menu is sorely needed for making things easier on new readers.
All in all though, it was good stuff. I enjoyed it.

SUPER SHORT COMIC REVIEW POWERS ACTIVATE!
Art, looks good, I agree with Mongoose, not particularly grabby or flashy, but looks great.
Story, I'm not a big fan of gumshoe stories, but that is a personal choice, overall the story is not bad at all, nice and solid.
Downside, the problem is that all it has is it's stability, nothing really seperating it from the rest of the "flock." Don't worry Mongoose, I had to do one as well.

I loved this comic.
The art, as has been stated before, was simple but very effective. The story was definitely the main focus, but the art was very attrective. I loved the design for the mime girl. There were a couple places where characters appeared to be in different styles, like the detective and the scientist (I'd like to get links, but as DarthMongoose said, there's no real archive for me to go and find them).
The story had me hooked from the beginning. Detective stories are very cliched, which makes them ripe fodder for parody. So ripe, however, that parodies themselves are extremely common. This, however, manages to be unique, refreshing, clever and very funny. :)
The site is attractive and the grey colours fit perfectly with the noir theme of the comic. However, some extra navigational functions would certainly not go amiss.
I have to admit, I was very tempted to buy the book until I remembered I have no money. :(

This is a fantastic comic.
The Loquacious Mimes? "Look at me I am trapped in an invisible box!" Oh man. Combine that with a mad scientist and a deadpan detective, you've got a good comic. "The Mime Field"? Hahahahahaha!
The art is very good for what you're doing. Character designs are very nice, and this story is zany. Very worthy of the name "The Dada Detective". I like the fact that the whole case is about a duck. Very classy.
Anyway it'sa funny comic with a funny premise and funny characters. Keep it up.

Thanks so much for all the input, everyone. It's especially gratifying to get a good response from a discriminating audience.
I mean, holy crap, most of you really like me.
Sorry I haven't been around lately. I, uh, should go review some comics. ;-)
Jennie Breeden put some pics up of me cosplaying as Dr. Victor von Phlogestein up at The Devil's Panties. It's a little off-topic, but I can't help but think you guys'd enjoy 'em.
