I'm guessing this comic has a robot in it.

Alright, so this comic is hilarious. I'm going to detail how.
ART- Ingenious. There's no backgrounds needed for this comic, because the humor writes itself. In a way, it reminds me of Knock on Wood. Characters whose facial expressions can't change, but whose personalities come through anyway. Good job there. Also it's very iconic. I'm not sure if you took these pictures yourself or assembled them on an imaging program, but it looks great. You even seem to toss in little references to things like Calvin and Hobbs, since in one scene the TV is suspended in the air above the table (like the TV always was in C&H). So anyway, art=good.
STORY- Excellent. Each comic is funny, and they get funnier when you add in that part at the bottom. Only you get rid of it after a while. WHY?!
Anyway, the personalities come through great, and you make good use of a limited number of characters. The writing is very funny, witty, and sometimes smart. Oh oh wait, the commentary comes back. Good.
Overall a great comic. Only that stupid Buzzcomix voting incentive GIF is annoying as anything. PLEASE get rid of it...or put it somewhere less annoying. Or make it stop blinking...

There aren't many webcomics out there that use toys as well as Robot Chuck. Most offer nothing more then face value and hardly hold one's attention. Robot Chuck on the other hand, will make you love it's characters through the great writing and top notch story telling, and will make you into a buckethead after only a handful of issues. The comic doesn’t use back grounds, but really, there is no need for them. The lack of background helps you notice the toys more, and your focus is put on the characters, which is good considering the issues play out mostly through conversation.
Robot Chuck is the best toy based comic on the web, and even the most critical of webcomic fans can find something to like about it.
I would give this a 5 out of 5.

Art: The art for this is pretty well done concidering the medium. but it loses alot of the comedy potential by not being able to be expressive with the characters. its just like a fancy sprite comic. And the missing background seems difficult. if it had one, it might distract from the characters unless it was a set photographed as well, but at the same time, you loose alot of feeling when you just see the characters standing in a void, I dont know what you could do about that.
Humor: Each update seems to have the potential to be funny, but with the staleness of the characters, it looses alot of what its capeable of. I'm sorry to anyone whos a huge fan of the comic, but I havnt laughed at one of the updates. I can look at it, read it, say "Oh yes, that is somewhat humorous" but in the end, the way the comic is done I dont find it laugh out loud funny.
Overal: The stale characters might not be a problem for some people. If not then I can see that this comic would be good for a quick laugh now and again, but in the end I dont think it really has much potential unless it was done completely differently, but then it wouldnt be Robot Chuck would it?

Alright, DD review of Robot Chuck:
I've read Robot Chuck a few times here and there. It's a pretty funny comic, but I just can't seem to get into it. I found that it took me effort to go through the archives because I got a bit bored with the comic. The humor can apeal to anyone, but I just didn't feel like it was that great. This comic is one to wait for once a week or so, but going through the archives just takes work. The humor wears off quickly after a few strips. It reminds me of a newspaper comic, one where you would read it one day just for a small chuckle and then forget about it until the next day.
The art is pretty good, considering it's photographs. There are parts of it, with Einstein's hair, where it looks cropped just a bit awkwardly. I liked it when you put a simple border around the character. You convey emotion and characterization, considering they are dolls. However, there are time when I can see your hand, holding up the doll in certain panels, and that's really, really distracting from the art. It makes it way too apparant that the characters are dolls and are photographs.
I liked the small commentary you stuck on a few pages, but only when it was small. When you made the font larger, it was as if you wanted people to read the commentary instead of actually reading the comic. With small font, it's up to the reader if they want that extra chuckle or not. The larger font was too distracting and took away from the joke of the comic.
Overall, I got a few laughs out of this comic, but it's not one I would favorite. I might go back in a little while when I get bored just to see how things have gotten or if I want a small chuckle.

Okay, might as well review! Here goes :D
Art: I am DEEPLY amused by the dolls. I don't know exactly why, but there's something really funny that this doll family with their happy little plastic smiles engage in this type of dialogue. It just makes everything seem painfully cheery! And it reminds me of Action League NOW, which was the best thing ever to grace Nickelodeon. Well...maybe not, but it's up there. Anyway, I really like that. I think the lines around the characters could probably be cleared up somewhat, but I also know how hard that can be, especially when you're updating consistently. Otherwise, I like the look this comic has, and I don't mind the lack of backgrounds.
Writing: The humor is very stable and has a definite style to it, but it's not really my thing. Some of the strips made me laugh, but generally it feels more like newspaper cartoon humor than anything I'd get a genuine kick out of. However, it's got its own thing going on and it does it well, so I can't really knock it.
