I actually have this in my bookmarks, lol.

I find it to be a very unique comic in the fact that it actually uses action figures.. but the guy who makes the comic actually makes the effort to create an fantasy world made out of random stuff such as paper mache for those action figures and makes it so that they're not just action figures, but actual people who's set out for adventure in an fantasy world.

if that doesn't make sense to you, just click the damn link up above and you'll see what I mean.

Art: well, this isn't your typical art in that the guy doesn't use paper, ink or pencils or even does cg art. instead he uses his camera, and creates whole sets for his action figures to interact with each other. I must say I find myself impressed by the effort he puts into the sets. the rocks look like rocks even though it's made out of Styrofoam or whatever. the water looks like it's water, even though it's made out of colored sand.. etc.. you get the idea. overall this creates an really unique comic look that's very fitting to the comic.

Characters: The characters actually progresses rather nicely in terms of character development, etc. They're not overdone, and in a way they're actually parodies of the typical Adventurer characters that you always read about in books, etc. but they don't end up being way too much of cheesy characters.. their personalities are "real".
I must say it's the hobbit or the dwarf that always got me chuckling when it came to their lines.

Storyline: It's the basic start to any adventure story, they're off looking for treasure and all that. However it's not too clichéd or too boring. (Okay so it might be a little bit clichéd, but isn't most good stuff?) It's entertaining enough to keep me reading.

if I had to give this an rating, I'd rate this 10/10.

Hmmmm, interesting.

I have to give mad props to the creator for using such an innovative style in their webcomicing. You see pre-fab action figure comics, and you see little badly made action figure comics, but this is pretty creative and decent stuff. One of the only complaints I have with the media is the lack of cohesion. The eyes and the word bubbles stand out a little too much. Obviously word bubbles are hard to make less obviously, but it's important that they blend a little better than that. Why? Well, because we don't go around with word bubbles sticking out of our heads. Comic artists tend to make word bubbles as simple and common as possible so that they are barely given any thought. They become merely that extension of speech. However, the jarring whiteness of the bubbles in your comic somewhat halts our imagination and makes for a staccato experience.
I would suggest finding another way to use speech bubbles. Either make them darker, add texture to them, or create fabricated lines from string or something to tie them into your "real" world scenes.

As for the story, well... it belongs to a long-standing niche, and you're trying to bring something new to that niche, so I'm going to withhold comment there.
The jokes get a little slap-dash and aren't given time to gel, but some people like that nonchalant nature of dialogue, so it too has its place.

Just keep evolving. Don't stay the say lest you get bored.

Pirates, art history, and time travel- things could get messy.

on the speech bubbles and eyes thing...
in photo shop you could reduce the opacity of the eyes and the speech bubbles so that they become a little bit transpert but not too transpert.. but just transpert enough so that they blend nicely into the action figures and the backgrounds while still being visible enough for people to know what they're saying and stuff.

just a thought.
