The art at the moment is pretty decent. The art in the beginning was rather lacking though. Also the text could use some work. The current one is okay, but a little more surfing around blambot.com could help things look better.
This gag-strip has some okay jokes, but some of the stuff seems like filler, even though they're labeled with numbers. So the number of actual strips is pretty low. And these pages are really damn big. I don't like scrolling this much. You could make use of your space better.
I found this strip fairly funny for some reason. But many a time I don't find these that funny.
You don't win any points for pages size, difficult poses, or much originality, but this comic looks fairly good in color and improvements are happening.

Okay, let's do this.
Art, good. I use photoshop too, but most peple think I'm using MS Paint. You obviously don't have that problem. Nicely drawn, well colored. My only problem is I'm not really sure which character is which, but that'll work itself out in time.
Writing, good. I'm not a big gamer or that into manga, so a few refrences went kinda over my head, namely http://www.drunkduck.com/Over_the_Edge/index.php?p=12728 , but other than that, nice.
All together, a fairly enjoyable comic. Nice job. Maybe you could just make the characters a little clearer.

Yay, one I've already read!
Art; I like. It's somewhat simple, but totally works with this comic. Sometimes I think the coloring is a little too...photoshop-ey...like, the shading on clothing and what not is a little wobbly and gives it a sort of instability. That's not that big of a deal, at all, though. And heck, I'm one of the worst people at photoshop, so I can't really say anything.
Writing; It's on my favorites because, most of the time, it makes me giggle. So, yeah, it's pretty good.
The only major thing, that may or may not be a problem, depending on who you talk to, is the fact that it sort of seems like "just another gaming comic". I however, LOVE gaming comics, so I'll still read it and like it. It just won't ever stand out as anything special in my mind.

Well, what do I think about Over The Edge?
It`s a nice comic, something that hooks you in, makes you surf though the archive a bit (most of them filler) and then let`s you go. The effect is similar to looking up a show on TV.com. But it`s nowhere near the effect that is Wikipedia (That`s website is like crack) It sucks you in for a while, and then let`s you go. Maybe you`ll check back again, maybe you won`t, or maybe you`ll add it to your favs list. I stand in the last one, I still haven`t added it, but I will. Since I liked what I saw.
The art, in the begining is not that good, hell, it might turn you off. You see major improvement later on, moving on to the style they call anime. It`s not a crappy anime style, it`s not total anime, it`s a nice combination somewhere inbetween somewhere, you made it your own. As you can tell, the guy likes anime and video games (No shit, Myxo.)
Writing and everthing else? The characters? Well, they`re likeable. Though a bit lifeless, not in the way though their dialouge, No. It`s that the characters were not introduced very well. You feel no connection to them. The jokes, well. They`re funny. Not, hahaha! laughing out loud, Comedy Central Presents... thing. No, it`s more like, ha! that was funny. But all in your mind. It`s kinda like reading MAD. The jokes are sometimes predictable, like the F.E.A.R one, if you played the game, who, honestly, didn`t expect that? It was funny. But not laugh out loud funny.
Yeah. Like rapper Kanye West once said. Touch the Sky. You can do it.

Let's git to it:
ARTWORK - For a gag-a-day strip, it's fine. I do suggest making the characters look more different. After reading all the strips, none of them jump out at me as I write this. Well, I *do* remember some catgirls and a lion holding some crap...
WRITING - Ahhh, writing. I get the feeling that there is a lot of inside humor here. Right? I mean, I'm definately on the outside on most of these 'cause I just don't get it. Were these done for your school paper? Inside humor is great but it does limit your audience quite a bit. Of course, if you're cool with that, more power to you.
My favorite strip is:
http://www.drunkduck.com/Over_the_Edge/index.php?p=12663
but the last panel was a total letdown. Maybe seeing Kevin laying on the ground just a few feet below the edge with the other characters looking on in embarrassment and kevin screaming Viva La France or something... I dunno. I just pulled that outta my ass.
Overall, a good effort. Keep 'em coming.

This seems to me to be a very typical "slice of life" comic. Random humor, undefined characters yadda yadda. The writing honestly does nothing for me. The only time I laughed throughout the whole this was at MOSH. That was pretty clever, using mosh as a soundeffect. Everything else though, nah. I really never know what to say about how to improve writing, but well, you should do that. The best strips were the ones that were most unexpected and clever.
The art, is terribly unambitious. It really annoys me when people I can obviously tell are good artists do lazy things. Blurred photo backgrounds? Come on! The varying between a colored line, no line, and black line style is a bit confusing for someone reading through it. I mean, it's good that you're experimenting, but you need to find a consistent style to stick with, so that readers can get a sense of familiarity from the comic.
My gripes aside, things are steadly getting better (though your latest comic is a step backwards in my opinion) and eventually you should have a consistent and fairly unique style. Just put more effort into it. Stop doing the whole, talking upper torso, thing. It looks a lot better when you mix it up.
In conclusion, I don't really like it. It's not bad, it's just kinda like every other slice of life random comic out there. It's getting better though, so keep it up.

My sincere thanks to all who took the time to read through and thoughtfully review my comic... I greatly appreciate it! As a comic artist who's just starting out, it's really useful to get such critiques to uncover areas of weakness that can be aimed at for future improvements :-D
It came up a lot, so my apologies for having rather similar looking characters... this comic is based entirely on real people that I'm close to, so I've kinda ended up drawing a lotta brown-haired characters. Thanks ccs1989, I'll have a look at Blambot to find some good texts... and yeah, I guess I have put quite a few filler pics in here... having not done too many comics yet, I'll make sure to try and stay away from that in future.
Oh, and Eggbert... I guess I should point out that all the changing between different styles/line-styles and so on wasn't so much experimentation... but rather the fact that I only started learning how to draw in the past year, so I was working through the motions to find a style I liked and could work with... I really appreciate the thought that you would classify me as a good artist, but I think I still have some way to go there. The talking torso thing is mainly lack of experience, but I'll try to work on that!
It's a silly thing, but many people kept referring to the use of Photoshop (I'm guessing that's what is normally used for any CG related endeavours)... whereas I actually use Paintshop Pro 8, it's the program I taught myself how to draw in, so I've kinda grown attached to it I guess. ^_^
Thanks again to all of you!
