Sadly, this comic may have died. also, it only has 10 strips (I thought the rule for reviews was 20?). But still, it does deserve some mention, I guess.
The most noticable thing about this comic is the originality of the medium used. All the characters are origami animals, and the speech bubbles are cards on paper clips. The scenes have been set up, then photographed. It's a great idea, giving the comic both a very distinctive look and style. The simple, expressionless characters allow the comic to achieve an atmosphere of innocence while having humour that's really quite dark.
The jokes are simple and have a slightly morbid edge, but the dialogue and timing are well done, and the creator seems to imbue the paper creatures with a surprising amount of personality, especially considering that they have no facial features.
It's innovative and an enjoyable read. Unfortunately, the lack of pages, and aparent death of the comic since christmas means that there's really only so much I can say. I'd like to see it return, since the simple premise could lead to all kinds of interesting storylines.

This comic is adorable. So very adorable.
Like Darth Mongoose said, the whole idea of taking pictures of origami animals, speech bubbles included, is really unique and fun. I loved that the speech bubbles were held up by paperclips and the way blood was represented with red paper shreds. I may not have liked it as much if it was just origami animals attacking each other, but those two things were just so creative that I was extremely amused.
As for what could be improved upon, if the author decides to take it up again; while I enjoyed it, I think the novelty of it would wear off eventually. It was kinda funny, but the writing could be stronger in general. The humor all stems from a very general place. I think it could expand from there. Also, a minor thing, there were a few misspellings...I actually wondered if they were maybe on purpose, because, you know, they're bunnies...I don't think that's what was going on, and I would probably like that anyway, but if it wasn't on purpose, that would be something to watch out for.

Firstly this comic gets a big thumbs up for being original. Reading this kind of comic is a first for me. It sure is a very nice idea, unfortunately it's not executed very well.
The picture quality is often rather poor, with very frequent blurry images.
The hand writing is pretty bad with the reoccurring spelling errors and the, shock, corrected letters. (why not just cut a new speech balloon and re-type it?)
The jokes are generally not very funny, or not funny at all. It strikes me as a "sprite comic" dressed up in a different suit. And with that i mean that there doesn't seem to be much of a script but the "funny" lines are all made up at the spot leaving the end result rather poor.
So to conclude, i applaud the idea, but if its not executed well its not worth much unfortunately. The author should work on keeping the picture quality consistent and making a story or jokes that are interesting to read, rather than the tired VS formula.

Right off the bat, the comic struck me as original; Even comics that used pictures taken from life didn't involve origami(that I've seen). Even so, even reading a couple of pages in, I lost interest. The jokes weren't very funny, only one-shot gags on what should have been a one-shot premise. If the comic updated more frequently, or had other kinds of jokes(instead of the same joke rehashed repeatedly), there might be more to say.
The art is..different. Points for originality, and of course, origami is an art form. Origami, however, is not really a COMIC art form. While the origami is well done(from what I can tell), it doesn't lend itself well to comic form. As someone else pointed out, the speech bubbles would have been better done with text, either inserted after the picture was taken, or printed and cut out. The pictures were often blurry or not terribly dynamic.
Story was either nonexistant, or not noteworthy. It seemed to have a running gag with the Rabbits vs. Squirrels, but being so short, hasn't gone anywhere. It's most likely that the comic has died before it had a chance to grow from infancy.
The writing was, to me, boring. The jokes had an interesting start, but I was left feeling not very amused. There's a potential for more, though, if the artist gets off of the Rabbit/Squirrel thing.
Art: 6 out of 10, mostly for originality of medium.
Story: 1 out of 10. There just wasn't a story.
Writing: 3 out of 10. There was an effort, but it could have been much better.
Overall: 3 out of 10; Might be worth expanding on, or calling "Rabbits Vs.Squirrels", but not worth reading yet.

Hands down for creativity. :) Pretty cool idea indeed. But it does lack story line. It's a little hard to get into, even with the short 10 pages that are there. Hand writing is a little messy.
Try using a type writer or a computer program to type up the wording.
This is an honestly cute idea. :) I think that you should go into a little more depth with the jokes and plot ideas. This comic will do greatly if you think of ideas then broading them out, and picking out what events you think could work best.
Orginality is very hard to come by in the world of art, rather it be comic or anything. I really hope you extend this idea. YOu have great potential!

The Good
Ahahahahhahahahah thats gotta be one of the most original ideas on DD. The "Yo momma's so flat she got lost in the news paper" has to be the greatest line ever. The animals were soooooo adorable I am jeallous I wish I had great Origami Making skills like you.
The Bad
Some of the pictures were blurry. Also some of the writing was hard to read, it would have been easier to make the speech bubbles on the computer. It was such a good concept, too bad there was no actual storyline and there haven't been any updates since October :(

This comic is a great idea! Although I would not normaly look for this style of comic, I am glad I stumbled across it.
Good Qualities: I got a sincker out of some of the jokes. There is great potential for growth in this story as long as they stick with what they are doing now. I see some running gags that are already occuring, for example, the Giant rabbit. I think we will be seeing of the giat rabbit eating those poor little squirlies! I like the Art work! Well done origami. That stuff is really hard to do.
Bad Qualities: Blury pictures. You can prevent this in camera. Make sure that you have good lighting and that you are not moving aroung too much. Are you using a tri-pod? If not you might want to purchase one, you can get a good cheap one at K-mart or a thrift store. Too Much scroling. I like to scroll only a minium amout. I suggest condensing your photos and making them fit on a screen that could be fully maximized. The paper clips. The did fit in with the style, but the word bubbles looked more profesional!
All and all I give this comic a 4 out of 5.
It has some funny jokes and a great style, but I think there is more room for improvement! Keep up the great work, and I am sure that your comic will be featured!!

Ok, this is my first stab at reviewing a comic like such.
But, hey, I'll just do it the way I did in art class in high school.
Art: From a visual perspective I think that the composition of this comic can be very interesting. I was amused by the way the figures were set up and I could really feel the way they interacted with each other. In many shots, the rabbits and squirrels were set apart and easily seen, which is good because they were all the same color. (group of pink rabbits or group of yellow squirrels) Sometimes though I couldn't tell them apart and it looked like a colored pile of paper.
~With photography there is a lot to be considered that artists don't have to worry about in the same way. One big problem was that many of the photos were out of focus. Crisper images would have made a big difference to the appeal of this comic. Lighting was another big issue, as there was hardly ever any light source to be found. Lighting is a MAJOR part of photography and any photo looks very poor and amateur without it.
Writing: I thought the writing was cute and simple. It seems to be a 'gag a page' comic so the lack of story didn't bother me much at all. It was clear to understand that the rabbits and squirrels fight, that's all there is to it.
I really enjoyed the hand made word bubbles, and it added a lot to the 'hand-made' look of the overall comic. It felt more connected than the later computer word bubbles.
~ However, there were problems. The Placement of word bubbles was off a lot. What I mean is that the word bubble (WB ) of a response came before the WB of a statement, thus the reader would read it backwards, and it got very confusing.
Overall as a Webcomic:
It works as a webcomic for these reasons:
~It is a great, and original idea
~The layout of panels is long and not wide, making it easy to read on a computer
It doesn't work for these reasons:
~It updates it seems once of twice a month, thus losing the reader's interest.
~ It didn't have many pages to go off of, but there was a lack of progression, and it seems to stay stagnant.
I could see if gaining many fans, but it just doesn't update enough.

This is a very weird but origional comic. The origami artwork is amazing. I do think the squirrel versus rabbit thing is getting old, so I think some new creatures should be added. Perhaps the bear or the dog? The comic also lacks a lot of updates, which annoys me, because of how good this thing is. And I prefer the computerised speechbubbles to the paper clip ones. And there isn't a lot of storyline to it, but I love how you make the blood, and how they fight all the time. My favourite had to be the weresquirrel one.

This comic doesn't update much and it really does give a bit of a drawback that can make peeps emoish. You cant wait excitedly for the next one to appear.
Good things:
-Beautiful origami. Better then what many people can do. There's obviously alot of effort there.
-A very good show of improvement over time. It doesn't stay at one level of creativity like many comics Ive read. Adding digital speach bubbles was deffinately a good idea. Adding scenary later on was deffinately another good move of the artist. :3 I like pretty green fields.
-There's a bit of a running gag through the story about how the rabbits and the squirrels don't get along, and they dont make it for no reason either! There's at least a bit of writing in it compared to many photograph comics.
-The use of origami instead of say pixel suggests that there is a more creative way of avoiding what could end up being some kind of horrible sprite comic! Eeee.
Bad things:
-Slow updating. Trying to keep a comic alive with say maybe at the least a once a weekish update to keep people interested could be in order. People can forget about it quickly if not!
-Should have a few more pages to review. Its lacking in the material department.
-You should probebly see about using better camera or trying to get sharper shots, it can hurt people's eye sight if they dont get a clear view of what's going on.
-Spelling Check. The original pen speach bubbles and things had a few prominant spelling errors. Even Ive been known to make some, but be careful since such things can be extremely obvious.
-Making the panels slightly smaller cant hurt for 56k modems, however it's by no means as bad as it could be.
-Not much plot/gag developement. Having squirrels and bunnies kill each other over and over doesn't really go anywhere without something else to perk it up.
-Seasonal specials that are one after the other can prove to be a problem. Updating more often could solve this.
-Titles could use some developement
Final Verdict:
All in all a very creative and original comic. It just needs a few more tweaks and a steadier pace and it could prove to be quite popular.
Art: 7/10 - Lovely origami, speach bubbles and drawing on the creatures could be a little neater.
Composition: 6/10 - Some rules of thirds and some creative camera angles could make this even better! 8)
Writing: 4/10 - This needs some work. However it's hard to make things like this more interesting. Using the computer speach bubbles more often could give this more goofy OOMPH.
Colour: 6/10 - Colour is a very big influence on the human mind. Maybe try to give this some interesting lighting and mood! Should things be scarey like in the werewolf page. Maybe put some red or green celophane over a torch.
Overall: 6/10 - Not perfect but alot of potential. I hope this keeps going.

Origami Review
I could rave about the originality of this for hours, and then go on even longer about how cute it is. It is not a drawn comic; it is done with photographs of origami arranged into a story. The story is simple, the bunnies blamed the squirrels for something they may or may not have done. Neither the pink bunnies nor the yellow squirrels are the 'evil' side. When one dies a bloody death by being mauled by the other side, you feel bad. Unfortunately, there are not characters in the story, so it is not a terrible blow to your heart. It would be nice to see some specific characters, maybe made of patterned paper, or even just to have some names and personality.
I like how the pages do not end simply by a bunny or squirrel being killed. It does happen, but it does not appear to be the entire purpose of that page. It was conveying something else, a joke, some plot, etc. Unfortunately, a lot of the humour is when an animal dies, but other things make you smile too. The origami models interact with their surroundings, such as when it was photographed in the author's school.
There are very few things to suggest for improvement. Some of the frames are blurry because the focus of the camera, but I think the creator fixed that in the later pages. I cannot take pictures worth mouldy beans, so I will not offer a reason why, and probably everyone else reading this knows better than me. The only other thing I suppose is to update more. It is so sad when a great comic updates so little. I suppose it would be more captivating to the audience if there were more plot (which brings me back to the suggestion about adding characters).
Overall: I love it and hope the best for Origami!

Hm..What can I say?
Well, this comic is quite unique for starters. It's not every day you see a comic made of origami.
Plot - I love the plot! A bitter feud between rabbits and sqirrels is just the thing to lighten your mood. I enjoyed reading through his comic and seeing the many ways these two species try to combat each other.
http://www.drunkduck.com/Origami_Comic/index.php?p=96362
This was my particular favourite.
Graphics - Sometimes the pictures were fuzzy but still readable. The handwriting is quite...gosh I cant think of the right word...squiggly but luckily I was still able to read it. The actions of the characters was sometimes hard to see due to the fact they were so simple and didnt really have clear physical features. The blood is done VERY well.
Overall - Overall this comic is pretty good. It has a slightly dark sense of humor but it will still appeal to all sorts of people. Personally, it isnt something I would favourite as it isnt my kind of style but that may differ depending on the person.
7/10
Need to work of quality of pictures and handwriting

I've never thought of doing an origami comic, and I love the idea. It allows for interactions with shape, color, dimension. . . and all of these come into play in "Origami Comic."
The use of toys to make comics has been done (such as Twisted Kaiju Theater ), but I think that the creator's ability to manipulate the origami characters gives more freedom than can be found in immalleable toys. I particularly like the use of cutting, coloring, and sizing that is done at various points in the posted strips. The only downside to this is that the changes are overwhelmingly dominated by the violent destruction of the characters. I think the comic would benefit from more creative use of ripping, for example, than simply reducing the characters to red confetti.
I'm honestly uncertain if I would classify this as a "gag" strip or a "story" strip. There is a single, ongoing theme ("bunny vs. squirrel") and recurring characters ("big bunny," but the characters are so interchangeable that I really don't care when one of them dies (which is useful, since one of them dies in almost every single comic). I think this comic would benefit from being even more of a "gag" comic than it currently is, because that would shift us away from the rather meaningless and increasingly less-amusing "bunny vs. squirrel" war to other silly things with origami characters.
The art improved dramatically when Videogamer1217 got a new camera, but he still doesn't seem to be able to control the focus very carefully. The early pictures were almost all fuzzy, some of them distractingly so, and the later ones are still plagued by incorrect uses of focal depth. In short, technical problems interfere with the comic, but it isn't anything that can't be overcome.
I think what would make this comic more interesting to me would be if we could have some characters that we cared about. The single idea of bunnies killing squirrels began to pall even in the short number of comics posted, and since I didn't care who lived or died it was hard to care how they murdered one another. The comics seem to just follow the format of: everyone stands there, casual violence happens, non sequitur/no one really cares. That being said, I really liked the page where they attack the Easter bunny and wonder if he bleeds candy. . . so I'm not entirely sequential in my logic myself.
Overall I really like the silliness, the use of origami characters, and the willingness of the author to just be whacky. What I don't really like is the repetitive "vs." gag, the fuzzy pictures, and the lack of distinguishable characters.
