Story: This is a very, uh, intersting comic.. this author/artist basically took the conpect of preadtors (the movie), Sonic, and a bunch of humans and threw them all together...
and while that sounds like it'd make an super-horrible comic.. it surpsingly works out in the end. it starts off to a very intersting start, with me wondering what is gonna happen...

Art: very nice artwork! Backgrounds and other things are highly detailed, and the proportions are very good too.

Characters: well, the story seems to have only started, really... so I don't know any of the characters too well.. but you can tell them apart, at least... and they have very distict personalities, which is always a good thing.

overrall: A very surpisingly decent comic, despite the Characters' obivous origins... the plot is soild, the artwork is soild. So I give this an 10/10.
I'm on hitatus while I redo one of my webcomics. Be sure to check it out when I'n done! :)

Wow...what a weird comic...

World building is something I like. Backgrounds really help with this, and happily you are never lazy about this. It's so nice to see backgrounds on every page. Shading is also really good. I can't believe that this comic is in pencil and yet you've mastered it enough so that the pencil doesn't smear. Very nice.

Art is good. I really like the fact that all the characters look, well, fleshed out. They have substance in the way you draw them. That's really refreshing to see. Character designs are pretty generic, and I find it weird how you combined the predators, Sonic the hedgehog-esque characters, and humans together.

Story is where there's a bit of problem. I don't really know where you're going with this. Apparently that guy in the first part wasn't the main character...or is he? We don't know. All of these pages have been action oriented, and while they look good, they don't give us any info on who the people are. It would be nice if you'd provide that later on, because at the moment they're all fairly stereotypical.

The sum everything up: Work on the characters, but everything else looks good.

If there were an award for "Wierdest original concept," this comic would definitely be in the running.

But, as the other reviewers have mentioned, the concept of a predator/sonic/human universe isn't being treated as a gag. It's a very real world.

The art is very solid. The sketchy quality of the pencil shading could be a disaster in other hands, but it's very consistent and well done. The artwork itself (anatomy, backgrounds, etc.) is very strong, and I personally think that if it was an inked and toned comic it would look almost professional. But you're definitely working the pencil as a style choice, and I say more power to ya.

I've never seen any Predator movies. And the extent of my Sonic knowledge is being able to pick Tails out of a lineup. So any 'inside jokes' that may be going on (like quotes from the Predator movies) are lost on me. What's amazing is that given these two franchises, a reader can look at this comic as an entirely seperate entity. There's enough going on that you don't have to be familiar with the source material to enjoy it.

I admit, this comic kind of blew my mind a little. It's top notch quality from the most unexpected quarters. There are a few things that could be improved upon, but they're relatively minor details, and mostly just a matter of my personal taste. For example, it might be nice to see a different font used instead of the fallback Comic Sans. (Lots of sites offer free font downloads. I use fonts from http://www.blambot.com .) If the option was available, inking (manually or digitally) might kick up the professional appearance a notch. (But, like I said before, the pencil shading is really fabulously handled.)

My general feelings after looking threw the pages are that this artist is wasting his talent on a "Sonic" comic.
It's all very nicely done, but the Sonic and Predator characters really make me loose any respect i might have had for the work done.

Perhaps it's that element character mix that keeps some readers hooked, it's easy to get into it since you know the cast, but for me it's the other way around.

I REALLY think you should make it ALL your own and not borrow other peoples characters.

Though theartwork is of a high quality, I do sort of feel inclined to agree with VegaX in that there is really no need for the characters to BE Sonic style anthropomorths or Predators when they don't really show the behavior or many of the abilities linked to the rules of their respective canons. In fact, I find something about the idea of Predators speaking English, running around in human street clothes and being incompetant to be disrespectful and pretty cringe-worthy as a fan of the original Predator film.
All the characters have human looking bodies with Predator or Anthro heads stuck on, which looks rather comical, and since the artist can clearly draw human characters very well, makes me wonder why they made the characters non-human.
The concept of the dumb Predators just seems like it ought to be in a funny comic, yet the plotline seems to be that of a semi-serious action sci-fi. I can't help but be left thinking that if the creator came up with some original human characters, or made up some races for the characters that weren't from other things and that went together better stylistically, they could make something pretty awesome, as opposed to something that's just pretty good.

I'd have to agree with the other posts- the art is solid, and never lazy- awesome backgrounds, by the way. The style is consistent, which can sometimes be hard to pull off with (and I'm guessing here) what looks like a combo of charcoal and pencil.
The plotline is interesting in a crazy kind of way, without being over the top. Again, having combined Sonic, humans and Predators, it seems really unlikely that anything coherent could come of it, story wise. But it was refreshing! It's like what every webcomic containing Sonic should aspire to be.
My only complaint would be the layout of the comic page itself- The side navigation bar meant that I had to sidescroll for every single page. And I hates me some sidescrollin'. Aaand, it's a little over the top, with the gigantic logo, flash animation, giant buttons and neon sidebar. I think in this case, the site design is overshadowing the subtle, sketch-esque art. But that might just be me, I prefer a really pared down design. Still, good comic overall!
