Most of the time i find this comic really enjoyable.
ART:
The art is nice and varied as different artists have a stab at it. Sometime it goes a bit too far inte manga territory which at least for me is bad, but overall its a really neat cartoony style. The backgrounds are missing most of the time, but it works. Im not overly bothered by it.
STORY/JOKES:
The main story gets interupted pretty much all the time with side jokes which seems very random and "filler" like. However, these fillers are mostly more fun than the actuall story, so im not complaining.
Some characters "over-react" a bit here and there, making some parts a bit annoying and "noisy".
http://www.drunkduck.com/Halfway_to_Dead/index.php?p=13392
The jokes i like the most are the low-key ones like on this page: http://www.drunkduck.com/Halfway_to_Dead/index.php?p=8852
The best part is for by far the "no-man" jokes. Those are the ones that really get me laughing.

OVERALL:
Mostly funny, always strange. I like it.

Art: Sometimes a little lopsided with the faces and whatnot (most. annoying. thing. to fix. ever.), but over all nice. Very good coloring, good page layout, etc. Not an eye-strain at all :D thumbs up. My only suggestion is to work on making it a more original style, because it seems kind of common place.
Jokes: Not bad, quirky humor, nothing special but nothing bad. I love the no man thing...hehe. Some things get a little repetitive, but I know from experience that it's often difficult to leave a good joke/gimick behind once you've discovered it (and especially when your fans love it...)
Story: Dude, I don't know if it's just me or what, but I find it really really hard to understand what's going on. I don't know why, but the dialogue seems really choppy and hard to follow. The first ten comics confused me SO BAD, I couldn't tell what was happening at all XD
Overall: Not bad, definitely several notches above some random knock off, but not original or cohesive enough...yet?

Art: There's definatley a lack of backrounds much of the time. However it is nice to have 3 artists always sharing the job so that the style is constantly changing. Overall sometimes it was hard to tell what some objects were, I guess it was sort of strange that way.
Story/Art: Well, it felt almost like reading a better version of The Revelutionaries with Ink in there. The humor was superb, I especially enjoyed the "Do you bite your thumb at me?" strip. The general weirdness is great. The line about "eating our way out" during the crowd of squirrels was somewhat genius. Though I found the whole "Watcher" arc was way too long and rather pointless. Overall the humor is good but the story is too volatile to be really good.
Overall: It's a great humor comic with some pretty good art though don't be looking to read into any deep plot of any kind.

An interesting comic. Done by 3 people with talent, it's a lot of fun.
The story is simplistic- Three room-mates and their crazy adventures, but the storylines are different from the norm. Giant squirrel monsters? That practically writes itself. What I like about the story is how you manage to make these crazy storylines with changing artists fit. You also have a good deal of side gags (Charlie Chaplin on a wall?!) which work. It makes me chuckle and keep reading, and that's a good thing.
Art- Fairly good. Not a lot of backgrounds. Not really necessary though. This is a cartoony comic, and while the occassional background helps, the gradients and flat colors did their jobs well enough. Congrats on making that work. I was also intruiged by this page because of the changing styles and how the artist really got that down pat there. Kudos. Oh, and this page is a perfect blend of cool, overdone parody art and humor. Great job there.
I really enjoyed this comic. Update MORE.

I agree with CSS. If you take this comic without knowing anything about it or its creators, it's not the most coherent, consistent, or complex comic on DrunkDuck. But the creators are three artists who have made a name for themselves with serious (or at least semi-serious) webcomics, and HtD is more of their "outlet of silly". It's not meant to be this groundbreaking series worthy of close criticism and scrutiny. It's just three guys spontaneously thinking up something funny and putting it onto paper (which is something of an ingenious process in itself, instead of the months of pre-planning that come with most webcomics).
That being said... as far as random humor comics go, Halfway to Dead is one of the best on DD, and I totally recommend reading it. (Though I do wish they'd update more. But we mustn't grumble, right?)

I read this a while ago, and I really enjoyed it.
it's better than most "Random humor" comics out there that I've read too at that, which is saying a lot.
like others said, this isn't the best but this isn't the worst nethier. the humor itself is very enjoyable, and the best part is... despite the fact that there's those guys that are based on real life guys, you don't have ot know anything about them to get the humor that they're putting out.

I'm on hitatus while I redo one of my webcomics. Be sure to check it out when I'n done! :)
