What we have here is a prime example of a comic that could be a lot better if tightened up and actually made, y'know, into a comic.

I really don't even think this comic should be UP for review. It's a bunch of concept sketches loosely tied together by sub-par paneling, with a bad font providing some clue to what might be going on. There are crinkled pages, with some black flat color in one area. No backgrounds, the 'characters' are in the sketchy state and can't be told apart. It looks like it could be going somewhere if the someone who made it spent more than half an hour sketching it out, and then maybe putting in words for 15 minutes and posting it on the web.

I say we skip this comic, because it's unfair to all the other comics out there waiting for review to have to deal with this. I can't tell WTF is going on, and I doubt others will be able to either. Plus, even if this WAS a more developed comic art wise, it has too few pages for anyone to get a good idea of what the story is about.

Er. Uh... hm.

Yeah, ccs is right. Sorry, Gridscan, but there's really nothing there to review. In the author's notes it even says that these are the planning stages for an animation. While they may be fine for that, they utterly fail as a comic, and I a bit confused as to why you would think they would work this way since you didn't design them with that purpose in mind from the beggining.

Not to mention how the comic starts on page five (which is largely illegable) and then the two thumbnail sized pages which don't even seem to be from the same comic (also illegible).

Kind of a shame, cuz that one page I could kinda make out had some pretty nice art. So yeah, skipping this one.

PS: If you (author of Gridscan) ever actually do get some kind of comic on that page, I'll be glad to put this back up. Till then, nope!
