Eggbert is the moderator, but we've already got lots of submissions, and I don't think he'll mind if I speed it up. Plus the past review already has enough.

So get reviewing!

Okay, no one else is reviewing this....(lazy bastards) so I guess I'll start.

First Impressions- NICE site design! Well, that is to say it's better than I could ever do. AND you've got a domain name. So far this speaks 'professionalism'. Or at least as professional as people can GET on the web.

Art- Not great, but not absolutly terrible. This is a gag comic for sure. I can tell who the characters are easily enough, but the early stuff still looks half assed. I notice later on it gets much better, so that's good. So yeah, it's alright for the genre you're using.

Writing- Pretty good. Some are hit and miss. The political ones seem more like rants than comics, so I didn't really enjoy those all that much. But others, like this one are very enjoyable, because they use multiple layers of humor to construct a funnier gag. Good, keep doing that. Non-straighforward jokes are the best.

Overall- Yeah, it's a good effort. I was able to read through the whole archive without taking a break and enjoy it. I really like the Political Ninja Spectrum. There's some good special effect there.

So yeah, good comic.

This is exactly the same as the other forum. People WANT to get reviewed, but they don't want to do the reviewing. People don't understand that the more they review the faster we get to THEIR comic.

I hereby vow that I will review every comic that's up for review from now on. I had a job, school and others before, but now I have more time. I was working all week.
We need three, people! THREE. And then and ONLY then can we move on.

Mmkay, I'm not exactly too lazy to REVIEW...I'm just lazy to go through archives I've never been through before. (That's probably the case with many people....but yes, either way it's because we're lazy.) However I managed to go through most of it yesterday. I hope this is long enough...had trouble thinking of things to say today...

Art: Clean, easy to read and look at...and you seem to be getting better! The style doesn't do much for me really. Perhaps you can try more different things with the main character's faces? Just to seperate them a bit more......face wise? O.o I actually don't see many obvious mistakes in your anatomy in your recent pages! Just a bit of wiggelyness here and there.

Story: Yes. Lots of political jokes, most very true. Though I don't think I laughed once while reading this comic. Smiled a few times...but that was it. Personally, I can only take so many political jokes. They are okay every now and then...but I get bored of too many of them. As for the rest....eh, again they were alright but nothing new to me.

Overall: Well, if you like what you're doing than keep it up. Though this sort of gag webcomic is not my thing. I definitely say to try some new things, in both your gags and your art style.

It's the opposite for me. I love troving through archives, but I often chicken out on the actual review process!

Nevertheless, here's my...

Review of Divisible by Zero

So... I guess I'll start with the premise. From what I've observed, Divisible by Zero is based around the life of Giando (which happens to be the name of the artist! Coincidence? OMG ROSWELL). Naturally, since it's a comic, something more has to happen than the actual life of the artist. And, it does. (Unless this stuff is ACTUALLY happening to him, which would be reallly crazy. And if so, please send Giandroid to my house to do laundry.)

ANYWAY, the comic's main jokes come from a mix of geek humour, political humour, and offbeat/crazy/weird/quirky/etcetera humour. Since the main character is the artist, not much character development needs to be done, since the artist can merely consider his own psyche rather than think about/create an original character's thoughts/decisions. As such, the comic relies on the gags.

The gags. Ah, the gags. I've outlined the main genres of humour Divisible by Zero falls under in the previous paragraph. When I went through and read the archives, there were some "laughing out loud" (or LOL like the kids say) moments, some "heh, that was pretty good" moments, and some "what?" moments in which it flew over my head, and seemed sorta in-jokey (like this one). You may want to stray away from that to reach a more mainstream audience.

On the art front, I can see it progressing over the course of time, and the most recent ones look excellent. Keep up the good work.

In summary, I enjoyed Divisible by Zero, and I'm planning to become a regular reader. Good luck, Giando!

(PS. This was my first review, so it might not be very helpful. Do not take internally. Consult physician before you.)

OMG OMG OMG SWEET! This is great, guys! Thanks for the reviews
The way I see it is this: If it's funny to me, it's funny to someone else. But not everyone. Honestly, I'm totally cool with that. Some people are just different, like different things. That's rad!

Update schedule? I've been really bad at this. REALLY bad. CASE IN POINT: Divisible by Zero has been active for TWO YEARS. Two years? Forty comics? Whoopsies. However, an interesting phenomenon is that I have also been playing video games for just as long, and have recently given up on them, sold all my consoles, and hit the forums. That leaves me with more time (and money) and HOPEFULLY more comics.

And Giandroid's more of a dishes kind of guy  .

Overall I found your comic funny and enjoyable. It also has effort, which is a definite plus.

Anyway, now we can move on with the reviewing.

Ok this is my first review so bear with me ok. I hope its still ok that i review this one since it's been reviewed a few times before...

Character design: The simplistic style and costuming helps to convey a cartoony feel. Your art style reminds me of the Simpsons style, probably due to the 4 fingered hands, round eyes and picket fence style hair. Your anatomy has inproved greatly since you began the comic, elbows and knees are more clearly defined and rarely seem out of place. Overall I believe you have vastly improved in your character drawing since you began DbZ.

Backgrounds:
While once your backgrounds (namely objects such as desks, chairs, and bookcases) were shaky and oddly colored they too have vastly improved. Straight edges help to convey the feeling of being in a sturdy building. Aside from just using a straightedge (or the computer if you so choose) do draw straight lines for the walls, you may want to do the same for doorways and such. Your sense of persective is also improving, but you may want to take a look at some good tutorials on the various types of perspective, I think it would greatly widen the settings for your comic. Also it seems you've moved from distracting background color to using colors that dont distract from the characters, more nuetral backgrounds helps to keep the reader's attention on the charaters. Some of your more recent pages have much more detailed backgrounds aswell, the game shop now has games on the shelves ^_^

Coloring and Shadows: You're character coloring is very clean, I'm no good at coloring so I dont know what else to say in this respect. Also you have a good understanding of where the shadows fall on your particular character.

I enjoy your comic, it is very entertaining, and I've laughed at several of the political jokes too ^_^ Keep at it and I hope I've been some help
