Wow, talk about a LOT of pages. Any suggestions on where to start?

Yea, the beginning. Seriously. That's where the story starts. My review will be posted here through an edit soon, so it's not spam...yet.

At the very least read the latest 40 or so pages. I'm sure the author would like criticism directed at their latest output instead of something drawn years ago.

I'm sorry its so long. ^^'
If you'd like you can start at the begining of book 2 here: http://www.drunkduck.com/Anarchy_2090/index.php?p=113628

It'll be a little confusing, but its only about 100 pages. ^^'

Anarchy 2090 Review
I re-read the entire archive to write this, and it's STILL a pleasure to read :)
The story doesn't go off on a tangent-I really like that. It flows nicely even with the occasional filler thrown in. The pages that are largely texts work great-not boring and necessary to keep up the pace. It's funny that when I first saw .hack//Sign I scoffed and said it was an Anarchy 2090 rip off :P Anarchy 2090 is so much better! It's funny, serious, and bloody! The best moment:
"What's wrong with him?"
"Something stupid, I'm sure."

The most recent art is so much improved from the beginning of the comic. Now it's computer coloured with awesome line art to start with. The text was hard to read at first, but not anymore. Sometimes it's hard to tell who is saying what off panel, but the language used makes it easier sometimes (Darby is easy to tell).

The characters are all really well developed and unique-there are not any generic stock characters. Tabbi is aggressive, Crow doesn't like nuns (haha), and Tadhg's well, he ISN'T EMO :P There's a lot of secondary characters, but they are managed effectively, which not everyone can do, might I add!
The only thing I could suggest is caution with the confusing text, and keep up the fantastic work!!

Oh yea...and how do you pronounce Tadhg's name...and where did she come up with that 0_o

Nothing to be sorry about; just shows that you're serious about your work. I'm almost done; my review will be up soon.

*Edit*

Sorry for the wait, here we go:

Art:

The artwork in Anarchy is nicely done. It's not too simple yet not too complex. The artist does a nice job with showing emotion and using dynamic angles when needed. My only gripe would have to be that there's alot of potential that hasn't hit the surface just yet. When it does, it's going to be great.

(8/10)

Story:

From what I read the story seems to be well done, and very well thought out. Emily has put alot of attention into the little details of the anarchy game, and it shows. The setting is ever changing, the characters are detailed and have real personality, and the sheer amount of pages alone show that time has been taken to make sure all aspect of the storyline are in place and understood by the audience. My only gripe is that it's a bit reminiscent to the dot hack series; but whacha gonna do?

(9/10)

Cast:

The characters are plentyful and all have their own distinct traits and personalities. There is a nice variety here so that anyone have find a favorite. From what i've read, they all have history of their own to give them further depth. Emily has done a good job of making them many in number without them being carbon copies of one another.

(10/10)

Overall:

A great comic that still has room to grow. I'll definately have to read the rest of the archive when I have time.

(9/10)

Oh man!
Thanks for the reviews guys! I was really suprised they were good, I thought I was going to get toarn apart. ^^'

I understand what you mean about the text without speech lines being hard to tell who said it, I'll keep that in mind in the future.
About the .hack thing: I get that a lot but, truthfully, I'd never even heard of it until I started posting Anarchy online. I planned Anarchy for a year before I put it online and the biggist influence on it was Danny Phantom (don't ask. xD; ) I still haven't seen .hack because I don't want to subconciously get ideas from it. ^^' ((I read the first book in the twilight series and it was really boreing.))

Thank you both! <3

(Ps, Tadhg is pronounced like Tig as in Tiger, like "The Tiger lives in the jungle." Its old Irish.)
