Reviewo Numero Dos:
No discredit for the artist, but I was actually having trouble figuring out if it was a character or simply gag comic at first. As there was one main character for a lot of it I thought we were following one persons journey, then no it was gag stuff and random people. Likely it was just me not paying enough attention.
Art: Works great for the gag purposes. As the artists work progresses he improves greatly which just makes the work more enjoyable, adds a nice "carefree" fun to the dark humor of the work. As the art progress it gets a very Perry Bible look to it, which I guess is understandable as P.B. kinda set the standard for these sort of comics. I will clarify it's not a complete rip off, but there are clear similarities at some points. I see nothing wrong with that.
Story: Obviously a gag comic so there's no real story, but there are some reoccurring character which I like. One I felt was the strips often are really dialog heavy, explaining more than the reader needs to know. I guess to me this would be an example (a strip I found to be pretty funny):

In the first two frames I don't think what the wife says is necessary (but that's not really the one I have a problem with), and in the second one the husband doesn't need to tell us that the ghost moved all that stuff, it'd be pretty clear to us. I mentioned Perry Bible earlier. Initially I was a little turned off to the Last Place because of what I noticed as similarities, and I thought "if I wanted to read PBF, I would read that, cause he does it the best", but I continued reading on and noticed they were very different gag directions. Although both gag based, Last Place felt more "people oriented" because it used reoccurring characters, while PBF is more random situations. Also I feel Last Place is at times meant for you to relate to more, or have "hey I've been there/thought that" moments.
At times though the gags only get a "I see what you did there' responses from me. You come to expect a certain bite in the gags, and when they don't have them it's kinda disappointing. Overall though this is a fun read!
Sorry if this isn't the best review structure wise...I'm really tired
