Why isn't anyone reviewing this comic anyway?? This is one of the best daily comics I've found on Drunk Duck, so I feel stupid reviewing it. It's not going to be so much a review as it will be me gushing about how it's the most consistently funny webcomic I've ever read.

And this is true. It is. There's over 200 of these up, and almost all of them are amazing. And by amazing, of course, I mean "jaw-droppingly horrifying." IFDTS is a comic strip that functions like a walking nightmare, where you laugh and hope nobody hears you doing it. Some of the funniest strips are in such shockingly poor taste that I'm uncomfortable repeating them. Heck, I'm uncomfortable scoring certain strips because I don't want to admit I read them and found them hysterical.

But I did. I read them all and laughed so hard I cried.

I realize this is a non-review. I'm too much of a devotee to give this an actual critique.

My advice: if you haven't read it, go and start with the first strip. If you're too offended to read further, don't. If you find yourself clicking to the second strip before you can stop yourself, prepare to set aside the next hour or two to read through them all, because you won't be able to tear your eyes away from it. You'll find yourself quoting the strips to your friends. You'll find yourself thinking new and horrible things when you walk down the street. It's just that good, and just that bad.

Now updating without interruption, starting 2/16.

I've resisted reviewing this because I'm next in line, & it seemed... I don't know... self-serving.

But, since no one else seems to be offering their opinions, I'll go ahead & offer mine.

With all due respect to the previous reviewer (& keith deserves ALOT of respect), I found IFDTS to be... puerile and, worse, obvious.

The humor reminds me of highschool & parties overflowing with drunkards.

I like that it's FAR from politically correct. Unfortunately, it isn't anti-PC with any degree of biting satire or even deep thought, but instead just comes across as angry or mean. And I could give a flying bucket of feces that anyones' feelings are hurt. I just wish the humor said more than the obvious stereotypical slam or the predictable action-gone-bad scenario. Damned near any group of beer-drinking teenagers could come up with the same results. Actually, now that I think about it, the beer wouldn't be necessary.

The art is fine, given the subject matter. It actually compliments the intent of the strip. It's simplicity works as a great underscore for the simplicity of the jokes. I really can't fault the art.

I imagine IFDTS will be many peoples' cup of flat soda. It constantly amazes me how little it takes to entertain the masses (which could explain why my strips have any readers as well). My friends hate that I'm so hard on my entertainment, so I don't see why I should be any different here.

This is just my opinion. It ain't worth much, but you asked for it.

I Fell Down The Stairs is an epic sweeping tale, loaded with mystery and intrigue. It engages in lengthy exercises of character development and narrative exploration that delves not only into the minds of its characters but also of its readers. The art, lush and detailed, provides a fantastical setting, imaginatively created to suit the characters' habitations.

Oh, wait, no. No, no.

IFDTS is, as alluded to, a completely random and deliberately offensive/provocative/shameless piece of work. The writer has an ability to shatter taboos of good taste and friendly humour for the sake of a laugh. I didn't laugh much at the comic, not out loud anyway, but I did keep click, continuously curious as to what horrifying thing would come in the next strip.

I'm not going to rave about it, because it doesn't always work the way it might, but the nature of the comic is one that doesn't remotely care, and any criticism levied at it will be mostly moot. The only thing you could say is that you don't find it funny, or alternatively, offensive, which would declaw the entire premise.

The art is done in my favourite program ever, MSPaint (apparently,) often much more skilfully than you might think (but just as often, not.) This is a good thing, because it helps distance the reader from the psychologically scarring content. If it were drawn by, say, the artist of Full Moon Stories, (who is currently the mod of this forum,) I'd be traumatized. It's an illustration of when it's appropriate to have self-consciously bad art.

It's not brilliant. In fact, writing this much about it almost seems to miss the point. It's cute, disposable, and yeah, in really bad taste most of the time. There's blood, there are bodily functions, there's cussing, there are penises, there's racism. At its best, it's a joke about a joke. At its worst, it falls flat. How you take it depends totally on what your sense of humour is.

Grade: B. Totally not for everyone, but occasionally for me.
I'm not an artist. I'm a writer who draws.
If you can stand to read 20 pages, we might get you hooked.

I Fell Down The Stairs is essentially a comic strip based on shock humour. It places glorified stick-figure characters in horrible situations and attempts to laugh. Some of the strips work better than others, but overall this is a strip that will appeal to a certain niche. The random nature of the strips is perhaps what will keep people reading as much as any comedy; it's nearly impossible to predict what's coming next, and whether it will be in as bad taste as the one you've just finished reading. (Most of the time, the answer to that second question will be yes.)

More personally, I did find one or two I found funny, but for the most part this sort of humour just doesn't "do it" for me. I am, however, only one person, and generally not the target demographic.

I read through about 50 strips.

Because this comic is very offensive, you have to be pretty open-minded when reading it. I wasn't offended when I read it, but I'm sure a lot of people would be. As for humor, it's pretty funny. It didn't make me cry of laughter like everyone else, but I did chuckle a few times. Although, your ideas are pretty original, so I guess that's why a lot of people like it. Good job, it seems you have a pretty strong following.

Strong points:
-original
-unpredictable
-humorous

Weak points:
-extremely offensive

This is a great comic.

The artwork is done in paint with simplistic drawings and the humor is almost always a setup/punchline, but 90% of the time its got wonderful comedic timing that you hardly expect the joke to go the way it does. As some reviewers noted, I fell down the stairs goes into darker and some argue offensive humor. The comics are consistent and updated often, its my understanding no updates have been missed yet. If this guy was using flash, fireworks, illustrator, or some other vector software - this comic would become a top comic on drunk duck, possibly the internet. Because its made in paint, there are some minor mistakes. I don't think its intentional, but sometimes comics have a bad case of the jpegs, where everything gets all fuzzy and mucky. Fonts can sometimes be too small or have the jpegs obscure them. Some recurring themes are a father pulling pranks on his son and a majority of ones where people get angry. In the great traditions of ms paint comics like Elftor & Pokey The Penguin, a little polish on this one and you've got something legendary, almost epic.

Its funny stuff. One of a handful around here that are actually funny. Not humorous or make you smile, but actually gets a laugh funny. Gems like this one from the father/son series made me actually laugh. Its updated daily as far as I can tell, quality in writing and artwork is consistent, and its just so darn funny. Like most daily comics, a few pages bomb or the humor isn't the laugh out loud type. Its more of that snicker or smile type or some witty observational humor. This thing is great stuff guys, I highly recommend it. If you can stomach the idea of reading something that uses stick-ish people and is made in MS paint, do not miss reading this stuff.

first of all, i'd like to thank everyone who took the time to read my comic, and especially kieth and marine for their kind words.

i do have to say, however, that while reading through nearly 220 comics can be a daunting task, i do wish that more had read through the entire archive. i feel that my strip's humor grew more sophisticated (well, as sophisticated as satan mocking a damned soul can be, anyway), and i feel it's much better than it was when i first started. so when people say it's based in shock value, they're partially right... but i can't help but think that they read my earliest ones, were turned off and stopped reading, which is totally understandable. i freely admit some of the strips i've made are so vile i even made myself cringe.

i did find it incredibly flattering though when some reviewers called it original and unpredictable; the latter quality and being humorous is really what i strive for. the only thing anyone could say to phase me really would be to say that i'm simply not funny, and that would just make me try harder.

anyway i love making these comics, and i love that people read them, especially when they enjoy them; entertaining's one of my favorite things to do. so thank you all very much for taking the time to look at it; it's much appreciated. i'm going to go eat ham now... my family hooked me up with leftovers. YUSS.
you know why birds don't write their memoirs? because birds don't lead epic lives, that's why. who'd want to read what a bird does? nobody. that's who.

To ifelldownthestairs:

I think you answered your own question as to both why people didn't read through your whole archive, and what you can do to really improve your comic. Delete those comics that really make YOU cringe! That is, those comics that don't add to your sense of what is funny/interesting have no place in your archives. You are disappointed that people couldn't get past the really bad stuff - so remove the really bad stuff. Since your comic has a nonlinear story you don't have to worry about losing chapters of character development, and it would serve to show people what you are doing NOW, and doing better.

Anyway, that's my thought.

Explosm.net errr....I Fell Down the Stairs.

Now I'm not trying to be a big meanie but even the comic makes a reference to Cyanide and Happiness especially in the strip Emo Dream. Most of the jokes are hit or misses for me. This strip feels like it was written by a 13 year old and not a very talented 13 year old. Many of the jokes just fall flat on their face

Now what made C&H worked is that the jokes are normally short and punchy. The words really hurt it a couple of these strips. For example the one at the dance where the guy asked a girl to dance and she punches him. There's a guy in the background saying something random. Then the girl says something to effect the guy told her she was fat. It just doesn't flow there was no punch line.

The comic has more misses and hits. Occasionally it'll have the actual funny joke like the clan crossing out the colors on his washing machine or the killer plumber. But a lot of them make me feel okay so. The Emo dream, the spank r us, the text comic, the abusive cops they're not at all funny they just say something it could have been funny for emo dream but then you tried to add another guy when you've already passed your punchline.

Also another thing a lot of the rape jokes are just mean. Most of the time they don't even make sense. Your first comic, you have God shoot someone and you should have ended there but instead you added a panel of necrophilia. You had one where there is a rape and the girl is revealed to be the daughter then you have the guy scream at her. It's not funny or silly it's actually kind of disturbing.

You don't build up the tension for a joke. You just go for a gross out with way too many words and it seems you are just trying to politically incorrect. You are congratulations but that does constitute for actual humor. I'm sorry but I have to say it's a joke that this comic is trying to be funny. I understand what you're trying to do in theory but really, I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but study some of the good Explosm strips. They too have their hits and misses but most are actually hits. See what works and what doesn't.

Artwork
Stick figures. MS Paint. To me, this indicates lack of talent, effort, and creativity. Given so little to work with, there's not much I can offer in the way of constructive criticism other than "Could you at least try to learn to draw?"

Writing
The fact that there actually are any funny strips at ALL in the mess surprised me. There are a handful of funny strips, but most of the time the comic just fails miserably. The strips that fail -- the majority of them -- go for shock value, offensiveness, or sudden random violence. They fail to be funny not because they're crude, but because they're unimaginatively so, because shock value doesn't take too much creativity to implement.

Style & Overall
Now, humour is very personal. Not everyone likes the "Three Stooges". Not everyone likes my comic, "Super Temps". I don't like shock or random humour; that's fine it's my opinion.

"I Fell Down the Stairs" is often offensive, but that's not its problem. Humour's very nature is offensive because it does something both unexpected and goes against some established norm. The problem is if the humour fails, you have to look at what you're left with.

In this case, what we're left with are crude drawings, inane dialogue, no story, no characters, senseless violence or vulgar situations. If the joke fails -- which is 90% of the time to me -- then you have nothing. There's no pretty artwork, no clever lines, and no wit.

It's like going to a restaurant, ordering the special of the day and first being served a plate of fecal matter as a joke. If you think it's funny, you'll laugh. If you don't, then you're left with something that just looks and smells bad, and when the real meal arrives you won't want it. And that's what really sums this comic up.

damn, slings and arrows.

i understand full well that my strip is anything but a pillar of sophistication, but i certainly don't think of it as utterly childish, just silly.

i know fully well HOW to draw, i am just too lazy to buy a pad (and i don't have an available scanner, though i'm not calling either reason a valid excuse). however, i can certainly see how ms paint isn't exactly the most easy-on-the-eyes program out there.

i think a number of individual strips mentioned were not really understood, admittedly because of my not utilizing my program of choice to the fullest (well i wouldn't really say OF CHOICE, i just don't feel like paying for a better one). examples: ziffy mentioned one in which a guy asked a girl to dance, and the girl acted offended. the gag, hardly funny now if it wasn't to him in the first place, was the unintentional rhyme of "dance" and "pants", it was a joke that popped into my head at a club once. i wouldn't mind if someone said it flat out wasn't funny, but more than anything i guess it kind of bothers me that i was unable to properly convey it.

the other one was the cyanide and happiness reference, which i thought was obvious in the last panel; it was clearly a joke on my comic regarding the similarity in the art, which frankly i see, but i feel i owe more to don hertzfeld than c&h regarding both art AND humor. but in any case, i'm grateful that people gave it a chance, and then went further to actually write about it. good or bad reviews, as i said before, i'm just glad my stuff is being read. that was really all i had to say; i can't argue with any other points really, because it's ultimately subjective. but yeah, thanks again :D

I Fell Down The Stairs is a gag-a-day goofball comic with no plot, interchangeable characters, and unpredictable hilarious punchlines.

I liked the strip at first so I finally decided to read it from the beginning. Those older strips are NOT good. Some were okay, but with most of them I have heard the same joke told already by another comic or comedian years before. This thankfully, as far as I can tell, was only a temporary thing. Once the creator found his voice that's when the comic really took off.

I gotta say that the artwork could be better, but only because the creator has explained that he's lazy. Still, I'm sure if he had a scanner or pad he wouldn't waste it on this comic and would probably want to put most of his energy into personal projects. I will say though that MS Paint is NOT a bad program to use! Just mute your colors with some greys. Go to the Colors tab and choose "Edit Colors" or just right-click on one of the color boxes. The right color choices will make even a crude comic easy on the eyes.

You have the comedy bug in you. It's in there somewhere, probably in the large intestine. Let it grow and show us just how funny you can be. Don't try too hard, but don't half-ass it either. Let jokes and gags come naturally and then try to find the twist that no one else has taken before.

Having read I Fell Down The Stairs, I have this to offer:
1) The artwork. That this comic is done in Paint and so turns out somewhat crude-looking isn't an issue to me, especially if half the point of the strip is that it's crude.
2) This being said, at many, many points I'm glad the art isn't actually drawn or in any way realistic, because given the content, that could end up very, very disturbing indeed.
3) The humour. The thing is, this strikes me as a sort of 12-year-old level of humour, but dealing with things a 12-year-old would be too young to be exposed to. Thus, we have a sort of paradox going on, and the ideal audience ends up being teenagers and adults that have the sense of humour of a 12-year-old. Do you really want that as a target audience?
4) This being said, a fair number of the comics do fall into 'so bad it's good' territory, and the trend seems to be that more and more of the recent comics seem to be genuinely funny rather than copied or shock humour.
So, after all that, I think this could end up being a very good comic if some of the earlier bad stuff were pruned a little.

This comic sort of sets out it's stall with the first page.
God shoots Joan Osborne in the head and then rapes her corpse.
Yeah, and it gets worse after that.
Normally I am all for some gross out humour (check my previous reviews) but this amazingly manages to go too far even for me.
Frankly, a couple of scenes were so appalling I am surprised you are allowed to show them on DD.
One scene (which I am not going to link too) featured a pedophile, with blood covered genitals making small talk to the girl he had just raped.
Yeah.
I didn't need that.
Some jokes are genuinely clever and delightfully twisted but at times the subject matters becomes so bleak that it is a struggle to keep reading.
The art in the comic is doodled in paint with very little effort, which in this case is a mercy! If any of subject matter was well drawn I wouldn't have been able to get through this unremitting violence and gore.
But at times the endless gore and rape seemed to be covering up for a lack of cleverness in the writing, a bit of a grisly crutch in places. It felt a bit like when the writer was less then inspired he just came up with an image of violent child rape to distract from the fact.
The top highlight was, for me, the massive TAKE THAT to everyones least favourite whiny, over weight, middle aged comic hag, Cathy.
If you want messed up and sometimes inspired evil in your comics, you need look no further then "I fell down stairs."
But I think personally, I will be climbing back up the stairs to get a nice cup and tea and reading something with just a tiny bit less stick man rape!

This comic is sort of funny. It can make you smile, but nothing there is really hilarious. The humor is very primitive. There are some pretty good jokes in this strip, but they are put in with some lame ones. Some of the comics seem as though the reader's response was supposed to be "Whoah! That's a dick!" rather than "That's pretty funny". It's a shame, seeing as how this comic can wouldn't be too bad without those bad jokes.

However, one thing I'd like to point out about the art: it needs to be neat. You can make stick figure comics neat, even on paint. Cyanide and Happiness, that's a really simple comic. But it has clean art, and that makes a difference.

This comic is OK for a couple of laughs, but isn't clever or clean enough for you to come back.

6.5/10

Opening: I admit, while reading through this comic, I found myself trying with all my might, without success, to not compare this work with the well-known Cyanide and Happiness. The similarities are there and to deny them would only be fooling myself. Despite this comparison, I Fell Down The Stairs still has a way to go before reaching its potential.
The Big Picture: Yes, as warned in the first post of this review thread, this is a vulgar, adult-oriented, and crass webcomic. Those qualities should not be used to judge whether this comic is good or not though. The comic does not claim to be a children's comic and never pretends to be a cute furry story. With that stated, I found that the strength of this comic is its ability to state with clarity that it just is what it is. The comic never tries to be thought provoking or intellectually stimulating. Maybe its attempts at humor focus on a small audience and you just have to have that kind of sense of humor to get the jokes. I personally found the use of cultural references in some of the strips creative and found some of them interesting. It wasn’t really my type of humor although I love Cyanide and Happiness. I did find a lot of the strips random and without purpose. I felt this comic has a lot of potential at this point, but isn’t quite there yet. It definitely has got the shock factor down with some of its content, but requires a little bit more refining and sharpening before it connects with more people. Although, in order to escape some of its comparisons to other comics, it might be going down the wrong path if it wants to go even more vulgar and insulting, maybe a different approach would benefit its development more.
The Small Picture: Artistically, this looks like the author uses MS Paint and intentionally tries to limit the attention to detail, and to the casual eye, you might say the art is elementary and lazy. But if you read other strips that come a bit later, you’ll notice the artist actually spends a bit of time on certain aspects of the strip. For example, the parody of the Wudafxup commercial actually looks like the artist made an impressive effort to draw the commercial star. Incredible detail and magnificent depth and shading are all not the goals of this strip, so it should not be held accountable for it. The art is simply a means and expression to get the random and clever thoughts of the creator onto the panels. No more, no less.
Conclusion: This strip follows a well known formula, but needs more time and refining before it develops its own tone. It already stands out from most strips, and that alone is a good start. I can not really offer any great suggestions on what it needs to do to get “there”, but I’m sure the creator will get there eventually. He seems to have a good body of work saved up and I do admit the later comics are much better than the initial ones so that just shows they are on the right track. The one advice I have for Kevin: Keep doing what you are doing and don’t let the complaints of your content and obscenities distract you. You’re not there yet, but you seem to be on the right track.

Artisticly is the only place where I fell down the stairs doesn't hit right, it's simple art so it suits the jokes, but it could be simple and good.

I think it's pretty funny, some jokes don't really make their mark but most are hillarious. When reading this comic I feel simillar to how I feel reading Cyanide and Happyness, but it's different, it's got more of a kick to it and is a lot more in your face. That's not to say it offends me, I like a bit of that, I can see how it could be a little offensive, but it's a joke and nothing to be taken too seriously. The humour also hit's at an intelectual level, more often in the more recent comics.

To sum up this comic, I think it's a good read, I think it's funny and would recomend it to you if you can easily seperate fiction from real life.

Simple and funny.

Well i like the jokes. He's not intimidated that people might be offended, and that is awesome. Who really cares if someone is offended? For one its a joke, two you dont have to read it, so thats why this is awesome.

But you need to get out of MS paint, PLEASE. I mean, the jokes are awesome and i laugh at most of them, but the MS paint somewhat ruins it. Sure that MAY be what you are going for, being very simple with dirty jokes, but come on, MS PAINT?
I hate MS paint.

But dont worry, its really the jokes that mostly matter, so thats why this is a good comic. If i had to rate it, i would give it a 8/10, because i love funny comics the most. They are my favorite, but i will always hate MS paint so, 2PT DEDUCTION!!!

I Fell Down the Stairs: even the name is enough to draw you in, but what is this comic really about? Well, it's about people, people who do things that people in the real world don't/shouldn't do. I Fell Down the Stairs is essentially a comic about the utter vulgarities that only the crudest mind can only fathom. Its in-your-face humor is enough to either make you cry tears of joyful laughter or turn of your monitor in disgust, depending what type of things you're into.

The art is inconsistent and minimalistic at best, which is pretty much in line with the entire theme of the actual comic. With its gritty characters and disgusting references, the art actually aids in lessening the blow of the comic's frightening repulsiveness by gently reminding the view, "Hey! It's just a comic! Take a chill-pill G-dawg and enjoy the ride!"

If there was a single word to describe this comic, it would be this: stupid. However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. For you see, stupidity can bring the most genuine humor of them all! When you look at any of the offensive pages found within this massive collection, you may ask yourself, "Why would anyone take the time to plan, draw, and ultimately post a comic so inanely stupid?" When you ask yourself this though, you'll have to at least give a snicker realizing the fact that someone has indeed created such an abomination of a comic.

I Fell Down the Stairs also holds an enormous amount of pages, and even better, the sheer majority of the pages contain original, albeit outrageous humor. Anyways, if you are mature enough to comprehend and handle the explicit innuendo of the comic, I would suggest at least giving this a comic a good look.

The Verdict: 8 out of 10

Billy vs. Tree -- The epic struggle of boy versus tree.
Sonic Colores -- It looks like it's going to be a good game because I love how the way it makes me grow.

Overall

This does everything it sets out to do: offend the prudish and entertain the childish. Apparently I am very childish, because I found this to be very funny.

Writing

Praise:

Usually very funny, and current. Impressive for a comic that is updated so frequently.

Criticism: Sometimes a few of the jokes seem to reach a little too far. I'm not very religious, but the first comic that has God banging a corpse even had me going "Whhhhhaaaaat!?" I realize that may be the chance you take in pushing the envelope, but perhaps you should ask yourself when you are done: "Is this funny because it's funny? Or is it just shocking and offensive?" Sometimes the answer can be both. But every once in a while, the only thing holding it up is the shock value. Haha, I mean, kicking a pregnant lady? Come on.

The shorter ones were usually more enjoyable to read - but maybe that's because my attention span has been widdled away to practically nothing!

Art

Praise: Constant readers are sure to appreciate the little "Easter Eggs" you put into your art. For example, the swingline stapler is a cool touch in the comic about the office mass murderer. Every once in a while you'll notice strange things in the background (like the 3-ways in the crowd at the Monster Truck rally).

Criticism: I realize the style is supposed to be crude to match the subject matter, but if the artist wishes to make a serious impact with this, I think the art will have to be improved a little to be taken seriously. No need to get realistic or highly rendered. I would simply suggest drawing it in pencil quickly, and then blocking in colors in Photoshop or GIMP. Use different brushes here and there to add variety and texture.

Conclusion

Keep doing what you're doing. If you decide you want to expand your audience, you may want to think about changing the art style from MS PAINT to Photoshop. It may seem like a lot of work, but once you get the hang of it, I'm sure that Photoshop will be much faster, and you can still have that "crude" look, but with a little more style.

Comic Review: I Fell Down the Stairs

Art- a far more unique style of art than others since it is done with paint. Not the best choice artistically, but it matches with this kind of crude humor. I don't have anything to say for you to improve the art since it is done with such a simple program.

Writing- Funny stuff. That's all I have to say. Keep it up.

Sorry this is so late. I prefer reviewing comics like this instead of plot comics, so I looked for one and found this one!

Artwork: The artwork in "Stairs" is honestly not as bad as some people are saying - especially considering that it is in full color and presumably drawn with a mouse in MS Paint. I can relate to how difficult it is to make anything even vaguely good with those resources. However, no offence intended, the artwork in the earlier strips is verging on cringeworthy. Panels are crooked and badly seperated, the stick-people are not only cliche but rendered quite horribly, etc. HOWEVER, I know as a reviewer to not dwell on the past! The evolution of the art and humour over time goes leaps and bounds. The author/artist should be very proud at this improvement.

Story/Writing/Etc.: In a similar manner to the artwork, the writing and gag-based humor in the older strips is leagues away from the newer ones. In a format like this, writing is what really needs to shine - as shown in extremely popular webcomics such as XKCD and Spamusement, which are lacking in art but absolutely genius in writing. The gags in this strip do vary in quality. The best ones, in my opinion, are the ones that centre around long, drawn-out Sunday-format type humor involving someone being completely oblivious to some kind of carnage or something normally considered obscene going on in the background. They work much better than strips that focus solely on shock value, especially ones that play off racism and sex (such as the horrendous 'Bean and Coon' ). The wittiest humor sometimes comes from the stupidest characters, after all. "Ignorance is bliss" is the way to go in comics like this, and I encourage the author to continue doing jokes of that type (he seems to be gravitating towards them more in recent strips already).

Other Quips: One of my personal favourite jokes is in a very recent strip involving an office employee completely oblivious of murders around him due to him bitching about his job. I literally laughed out loud at that one.

The Bottom Line: "I Fell Down The Stairs" is a comic that varies in length and format, and, though a little childish in its "shock value" approaches, does its job and delivers bursts of humor nicely. The new comics are EONS better than the old ones, but how is that in any way surprising? Check it out if you can, but read from most recent backwards to get the best experience. :)

I recently read through ifelldownthestairs as I was doing an interview with the creator, go check it out.

Anyway from reading these reviews I wonder two things.

Is my sense of humour really that sick?

How did Hark and Kev get together to make their review comic considering Harks review of IFDTS?

Anyway the review.

Art.
Excellent.

Yes, excellent considering it is done in MS paint. It is pretty simple stuff but what do you want with a gag strip? It always gets the message across, not many gag strips can say that, especially ones done in paint.

Writing.
It is hardly Charles Dickens or shakespeare but the gags hit more than miss, even if it is only for a smirk. All too often it does make you spit your coffee all over the monitor, Kev you owe me a 22" widescreen monitor for making the schindlers grocery list one.http://www.drunkduck.com/I_Fell_Down_The_Stairs/index.php

Yes it is often gross and sinks to the lowest lows for humour, but that is why I like it.

One of the best comedy strips on DD.
