Okay, besides the Civil Wars...It seems in the grand scheme of things we're all obviously in the same DD Universe (Or are we) - Two questions then:
Has there ever been two or three titles here at DD that collaborated on a storyline crossover of characters?
-AND-
If it hasn't happened, which titles do you think would crossover quite well if the creators got together for a little promotional stunt like doing a shared storyline arc? Not just cameos...an all out story!
I don't know...Like characters in say, The Weapon teaming up with heroes from Philly to thwart a bad guy causing havoc in both titles.
I hope this is in the right folder too! Discuss among yourselves!

As a one shot comic Riz from CDLM put Sid and Garret from Mercs into one of her strips, but that's about it. And that doesn't even go up until tomorrow. So shhhh...

DD could stand to use a few comic crossovers in some form.
One idea I always wanted to see implimented was that users would put Duck and Quail into their DD comics somewhere, then we'd record sightings of the pair. In some cases, like my comic, they can be running around in the background, while maybe someone else has them on TV or a billboard.
I don't know, that would ultimately be easier than scheduling a big crossover.
Regardless, if there was one, I'd volunteer my comics to be included.

Detective Fork has appeared in penis a couple a times. I'm not sure, but I think some stuff from penis appeared in Detective Fork.

If you go to the "Fightsplosion" forum, that's all about crossover stuff, pitting DD characters against each other in various arenas. I don't really do "fights" or I would join in. ;)
I have no problem with (in fact very much enjoy) the idea of non-canonical stories using my characters. I think they would get along with (or, um, not) most any humanoid characters. I've imagined what they would do if meeting characters from some of the comics I read (and also shows I watch -- Jigen from Lupin III would really hit it off with my girl Kaida).

I think that's one of the best idea I've heard hp. I'm down to do it if someone can get the ball rolling on it.

Thanks, I think it'd be pretty cool to put together.
If DD had it's own official wiki for it's users, that would be perfect for this. People can update these things at anytimes and fans can update information on their favorite comics.
That being said, I can volunteer my resources for it, at least until something official goes up. I already put together a wiki for the DD Civil War , so I have a pretty good knowledge-base concerning organizing and recording things.

Mother is crossover comic starring characters from The Path, Phineus: Magician For Hire and The Errant Apprentice. Its been a while since last updated by MrRiot but looked very promising.
@ hpkomic...That wiki idea is fantastic! I remeber when I was younger collecting the Marvel Universe Encyclopedia and I loved reading about all those different characters. There is a community comic run by timlight DrunkDuck Speeshez which is kind of similar but I like the idea of different users being able to update their own entry with the Wiki idea and being able to post our own art.
Time to fast track this idea.

The Drunkduck wiki idea is a very good one. Hypertext links all over the place could help ppl stumble upon new comics. And have lots of pictures plz.

Wow, for some reason I always just assumed DD had a wiki. Well yeah now that I know it doesn't this must be rectified. Dude hp you're like a mine field of AWESOME. Great ideas abound from thou. I'm not sure who's gonna do it, or how it's gonna get started but if there is help needed let me know. I'll offer my severe lack of skills and "getting in the way-ness" as much as possible. ^_^

I'm not sold on crossovers for something non-random. They're stuff authors use when they have nothing better to write. At least that's what comic books have shown us.
But random no-plot crossovers (Fightsplosion) is fine.

For me personally, I've been featured in two comics (Life and Death and Zorphbert and Fred), and I've mentioned Zorphbert and Fred as being a fairly famous comic in my characters world.
Steve from Life and Death has actually been in the comic itself for a good while, actually.
Uh.. I did something for Allan for no real reason. It was sort of a random filler.
...
I think we could use more crossovers. It would be pretty cool. I like Hp's idea a lot with having the duck and quail appear randomly in the background of comics.

It seems some of you guys are really into the Duck cameo idea.
I'll go ahead and make a segment for it on my wiki for now, then I'll make some sort of official introductory post about it.
Anyone think they'd like to help update it.
EDIT: Got the ball rolling, we have a thread for it now. Would anyone like to volunteer in order to update the listings?

I did 2 crossovers, like 4 years ago: First a five-pager with Inkmonkey's Elijah and Azuu, then 12 pages with Evil Emperor Nick's 3rd Party Fantasy. I dunno what other hand-drawn comics have done crossovers with a sprite comic, but I sure did enjoy seeing a Charby and Vic the Vampire killer sprite.
Also other comics on the old DD comics who did crossovers: Slither and Friends (which is still here ^_^) did one with a comic called "The Green Husky", the first crossover I was made aware of was Number 85 and Reality (both now are sadly lost to the DD of old)
Despite common practice to ignore the events of crossovers as if they were simply filler however, I counted my crossover stories as official canon since the original story lines I had (before I started posting CTV online) really, really sucked. I kinda used the crossovers as a good excuse to rewrite them.

I've been involved in a few cross-overs. Fightsplosion, the Beauty Contest, and RPGination are a few examples. As far as cameos go, I think Life and Death is only comic to cameo one of my characters (Morta from RPGination). I really don't cameo other people's characters, though. Of course, I might in the future, but... eh.

Actually, my webcomic "magick?" has had two plot relevant crossovers. One with Anachy 2090 and one with Wintergreen. These were actually story arches and were kinda hard to confangle, as we had different update schedules.

The crossover was with Xade's Insanity of Xade. The arc was shared as a sidestory for Drunk Duck Zombies.

I've always wanted to do a cross over... it sounds like a fun idea. But i don't think there is a web comic that matches up to mine. unless i could find another RPG themed comic which is similar to mine i don't think it'd work. Though saying that one of my characters is a wiz when it comes to dimensional portals... meh, maybe I'll give it a go one day when i can't think of where to take my comic.

Did you not notice several Drunk Duck comics involved in the Crossover Wars ?
A good site for finding (or reporting) crossovers, cameos & references is the The Webcomic Crossover & Cameo Archive
Brunhilda from The KAMics is dating Bobby from Life & Death .
Steve from Life & Death occasionally pops up in Magical Misfits which has had a number of crossovers with Public Humilation
There are other examples as well, but it would take a while to type up.

That's so cool! Funny thing, I just signed on to do some cameo work in a three-way crossover deal with The Devon Legacy Prologue and Due East !
Stay tuned, I think this is gonna be pretty good! Hopefully we can add the trifecta to the archives, KAM - Thanks!

Also in The Devon Legacy in the next few pages will be a small arc with Zoe, David, and Zoe Zoe from Wolf .
Although not a cannon story for Wolf it is surely more than a cameo as they appear for 5 pages! O_O
