Is it just me, or does Fernando sound an awful lot like Ajax from Duckman, albeit with a little deeper voice and a whole lot more perverted?

Ummm, no. From what I remember, Ajax had a slow version of a "Californian surfer dude" accent, whereas the Manwhore voice is just a whispering Australian speaking deeper than his natural voice.
It's bee AGES since I've seen Duckman so I can't say for sure, but I don't think there's a similarity...?

Maybe not accent wice, I guess but voice wice they sound pretty similar. And then there's the "Wax" line. It's just so classic Ajax.

Don't take offence, but switching the "V" and "W" sounds is something many Germanic and eastern European people naturally do. I find that extremely cool actually! ^_^
Yes, the breathy tones both voice actors use are very similar.
