Here's the issue. I've been having a few readers say they are confused about the gender of two of my characters. Now it IS a sort of complex issue if you are closed minded about homosexuality, because the parents are a gay couple. I have stated so in some places, but it still may be confusing. Soon I have a page that should clear it up, but I would still like to know if there is something I need to work on.

Here's all I want you to do. Pretend you don't know they are gay (and yes they are) and go read my comic. Then let me know wether or not you think the parents NICK and ALAN are two guys or not.

One last thing I'd like to know (because I want the parents to be normal and not stereotyped) is if you do in fact think they are two guys, do either of them come off as flamboyant or just like an average joe who happens to like other average joes who need a cup of joe to wake up in the morning?
