Edgor is a planet right in the centre of the universe, with 3 surrounding moons and one giant sun. The ancient prophecy says that when there are two suns in the sky, Edgor will be no more. Here are some of the creatures of Edgor:

Fauns: These friendly little people are quite a rare species, ever since the Vampirian Empire came to power. They are about 4 ft tall, with goat legs, reddish brown skin and two short horns coming out of their heads. Fauns are very merry, and often sing songs with the dryads, while dancing round a bonfire. They are distantly related to centaurs.

Poenas: Huge, disgusting creatures, with ten horns coming out of 7 dragon like heads. They have a leopards body with bear feet, and where dead kings crowns on their horns. They live under water, and kill at first sight. Possibly the most terrible of all Edgorian creatures.

Bogies: A Bogie is a mischievous but harmless spirit that lives in darkness. They can be found livings inside anything as long as there are areas of darkness. Bogies favour places where people store goods which they no longer use, so a dusty attic can harbour a number of bogies. Bogies try to be stealthful but by nature they are clumsy. They amuse themselves by hovering behind a persons back creating a feeling of uneasiness, and removing the blankets on the bed during a cold night.

Centaurs: These are incredibly noble creatures, and from the waist up they have a mans body, but they have a horses body and legs, meaning they can reach extreme speeds. There are elephant sized ones who live in The Black Woods, who carry spears and eat human flesh, but the regular centaurs would never dream of doing that.

Necromancers: A Necromancer is an evil wizard who practices in the necromancy. Necromancy is the power over the world of the dead. Their powers enable them to raise corpses from the ground to create armies of Skeletons and Zombies. Necromancers steal the life-force from other living creatures to extent their own and to increase their strength and toughness. Sometimes this power is also known as Voodoo.

Were creature: These are cursed people who transform into a certain animal randomly at any time. There are Werebears, Werewolves and even Wererabbits, each even more ferocious than the actual thing. Eventually the cursed being transforms into the beast permanently, and lives until they are killed by a silver sword.

Assassin vines: An Assassin Vine is a semi-mobile plant that collects its own nutrients by capturing other creatures and depositing their remains near their roots. The main vine of a fully-grown plant is about 20ft in length and 5 inches in thickness, smaller vines shoot off from the main vine stem. The assassin vines fruit resembles that of wild grapes, but have tougher skins and are poisonous to humans and larger mammals. The Assassin vine entangles its prey if they happen to wander into the plant. The Assassin vine automatically reacts to constrict around the ensnared animal. The vine will constrict its victim to death.

Dryads: Dryads are the female spirits of trees, and are very beautiful, but can also be very wicked. They wield powerful magic, and are sometimes mistaken for witches.

Dwarves: There are two types of dwarves. Red dwarves are slightly taller and have big red beards, and pinkish skin. Black dwarves have dark grey skin, are shorty and musclier, and have jet black beards. The two kinds have always been at war with eachother. The average dwarf is around 3.5 ft high, and usually work in mines. Dwarves care only for their own kind, and will never enter a war unless it benefits them.

Fairies: These beautiful tiny people are only 3 inches tall, and have delicate little wings with wonderful patterns on them. Different faries glow different colours, and they are very self centered little creatures. They bight and scratch whoever they don't like, but they shower people they like with fairy dust (glowing dust which doesn't do anything, but it smells lovely).

Rocs: These gigantic birds are feared by all. They are so big they can pick up fully grown elephants in their talons and feed on them. They are worshipped by people in Maarshcan, as they think they are gods.

I might post some more some other time.

Interesting intro to the the creatures Dubba G. But perhaps you could fit this in with Ian Jay's topic "A Hitchhickers guide..."? It'd go really well there! :D There're some great guides to aspects of many different reader created comic worlds, and this would be a perfect addition.

By itself here it's not really general enough for participation of other posters. :)

Yeah, but they're not from a comic I've done. I'd never be able to draw any of them :D
