Am I the only one who makes really stupid little storyboard thumbnails? If you have weird storyboard sketches or whatever than post them here!
...but if I really am the only one, than sorry for wasting space with this terrible, terrible crap.

Storyboard:

Ooo, stickman Jack is so bad ass with his little glare. I ended up changing the first panel to just a profile of Jack....obviously out of lazyness, and then made the last two panels just one.....once again out of lazyness.

Comic version:

Storyboard:

Mostly just angle changes on this page. Can't draw stickman Vallov without his cape....

I might submit more later, if this topic does any good...but they're so different from the actual comic (I change my mind a lot).

I draw storyboards, but they're usually just a quick sketch to determine panel layout and character placement. I write out the dialogue and many of the characters' actions in script format, like a screenplay.

Comic version here .

The magic is gone now, isn't it?

That is near identical to the scratch I throw down for a page before I do it. It works well, I don't have an example handy, but it is like that.

not me, i only do rough sketches and stick figures for people but when i draw a comic it's the final product eraser lines and all which is why i'm glad i have a tablet and photoshop.

and with my new comic style what i make is the final product no matter what flaws abound in it.

I make a rough sketch of the page layout before going back in with more definition. Unfortunately, since I draw everything on the computer these days, the roughs are lost in the process and I don't really have any examples.

Totally not the only one. Scenes sneek up fast on me, so I have to sketch on whatever is around when I get inspiration. Usually four per sheet of computer computer paper, front and back.

This is my storyboard. I use the same template for nearly all of my pages. It really helps.
