So yeah, does this website provide either Copy Right Protection or something, and will it publish my work, or do I have to get those two from other sources?

All this site does is provide the tools for you to host your work online here.

All work that you create yourself is aromatically copyright to you- as long as you don't infringe any other copyrights in the creation of that work (ie. sprite comics).

If you want to prevent your art from being downloaded and further distributed, we can't offer you that here. Sorry :(

If you want your work published in a printed book, we can't do that either. We have a store where you can supply art to be printed on various objects, but for a printed book you're probably better going to somewhere like Lulu.com. Sorry :(
