I learnt not to give generic title for my comic. I used to have a comic called Ghost Hunters and several other comics of the same name came up. Later on, I rename my comic as Ghost Hunters Online Manga to differentiate other titles.
So far, I have not seen any other comic having the title "I Come From Mars" and "Vampire Overlords". :D
But I did find a stupid British documentary titled "I Come From Mars" here

The other day I was online trying to get my original website back up when I saw a search engine to see if domain names were available, so I entered Narou and it said it was taken. A little frustrated, I went to narou.com (which would be much easier for people to remember rather than narou.kishinzenki.com). It was one of those stupid sites that automatically get bought up by bots and have links to ridiculous things hoping that whoever wants that domain will pay them like $500,000 for it.
But I couldnt understand... Why Narou?
If you do a search for the word, my comic comes up first then a bunch of sites to a variety of Japanese related sites (since narou is a form narimasu meaning "to become" although my Narou was a creation from the french word garou with the rou pronounced like the chinese (or japanese) word Rou which both mean wolf. The letter N sounded best with that combo)
Also, maybe its because its too close to Naruto and they like to pickup misspellings of popular words to get hits. ALthough I first started designing Narou in early '99 or maybe even late '98 so I hadnt even heard of Naruto >.<
*shrugs*

If I'd known there was a cinema ticket site called 'Fandango' I would definitely not have called my comic 'FanDanGo', or I would at least have gone with the idea of writing it 'Fan Dan Go'! Of course, it's still better than the name of the old drafts, back when it was called 'Lumio Knights', which is original, but a stupid name.

Naive. Hm. Don't think anyone has made that title except for me. I googled it and nothing came up on it being a comic from someone else.

The name of my comic, Return Zero, was taken from years of computer programing. I figured if I used a technical term than not too many people know and applied it to the theme of my comic, it would be alot harder to find a twin out there on the web.
So far, so good. But there are a few computer related business with the same name. At least they're not comics.

According to Wikipedia, the name "Viva Life! " is already taken:
... and if there's many other "OutofLine"s on the Internet, (believe me, I checked) then there's probably many more "Viva Life"s too.
Wikipedia
Viva!, or Vegetarians' International Voice for Animals, founded by Juliet Gellatley in 1995, is a UK-based vegetarian and vegan campaigning charity along with an animal-rights based organization which promotes vegetarianism and veganism.
...
Viva! also publish a quarterly journal entitled Viva! LIFE, which includes recent research and campaign information as well as recipes and much more.

There wasn't anything with the name of The Repository of Dangerous Things. About 3 weeks after I started my comic though, Mike Mignola printed 'The Amazing Screw on Head' which featured the Repository of Dangerous Books and Papers... or something like that. T_T I suppose it's a compliment that he and I thought the same.
My new comic will be named "Made-Up Stories" which doesn't seem to share a name with anything much, strangely enough... just need to get the webspace and buy the url to make sure :)

I googled "Misfit Assassins" beforehand, just to be sure, and all that came up was a description of a movie called "Point of No Return": "Bridget Fonda is pure dynamite" (WWOR-TV) as a murderous misfit reprogrammed as a high-tech assassin. Gabriel Byrne and Anne Bancroft co-star."
another movie description was of "The Yakuza": "...sentimental devotion to his erzatz family of misfit assassins threatens to add their own corpses to the landslide of fresh bodies littering Tokyo."
They spelled ersatz wrong, and I was sad.
My comic's name is kinda cheesy, so I think that no one else would really want it.

There was another Anything Goes, but it hadn't updated since April, so I just threw in another space.

Every time I see Anything Goes I think of the musical with tap dancing sailors and misfit mobsters in drag. But I'm sure I'm the only one that knows musical theatre, so I'll shut up...
