Why not trust it? A lot of people fave things and never go back to them. ^_^
I have a HUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEE list of faves (I probably have you on there somewhere too), and I haven't visited any of them in months -mainly because I've been away from DD for that long, but also because catching up is hard once you've missed a whole heap of updates...

On that note, I've got about 97 faves for my main comic and that hasn't been updated seriously since July or something, so page views have been down looooooooow.

But yeah, anyway, although it might seem like it, the number of faves isn't really a good example of how well you're doing. What it is, is a good indicator how impressed people are when they first come across your comic!

What you have to worry about is when your number of faves starts to drop. :(

I wouldn't be surprised if that started happening. It's one of the biggest reasons I hate getting fives all the time. They really don't tell you what people think of your comic. I got a much better idea when it was one of the featured comics. For about four days the pageviews boosted into the thousands, then, when the comic dropped off the front page, everything went right back to where it was before. I guess tracking favs is just as meaningless.

Yeah, faves usually don't mean much. People never clean them out, and half the time they don't visit them anyways. I'd worry more about people actually commenting on the comic than faving it.

You have to download and use the DrunkDuck Alerter! :3 The number that appears next to the name of your comic is the number of faves you have.
