Hi Everybody...
Can anyone give me tips on how to make banners for the top of my webcomics and how I would place them on to the page.
Thanks,

On making the banner, a long, flat banner would be best (my banner is 750x150)
As for putting it up, you have two options.
1) Editing it in using the HTML. First, upload the banner onto a host (Be it Drunkduck or something else), and if you're using Raw HTML for your comic's site, you can edit the HTML to find the following lines of code:
In the stead of , insert the link to the banner. Remember, this only works when you're using Raw HTML. It doesn't work if you're using a template.
2) Uploading it as the comic title image. This method, though I haven't tried it, seems a lot easier. Go into the Comic Overview of your comic's options, and upload the image in the Comic Title Image box and hit Enter.

It's a comic!

I can confirm that the 2nd method is very easy. I cannot for the life of me make HTML work but I managed to get my banner up with no problems using the title uploader.
As for the banner itself... Keeping it simple seems to work best for me. It's not flashy or pretty, but it does what it's supposed to. Hope that helps.
