I got a ton of ideas, but I try to only focus on one of them at the time. ^^;
Right now...it's just Death's Apprentice. I have ideas buzzing in my head but I try to ignore them because I know I won't carry them out. ><

I'm like a classic string-bomb. An idea will ignite a small thought in my head for a period of time- days- maybe a week. Then I explode; emptying all those developing ideas from that growing spark into a layout- a splash page- and maybe even one page. But then, that's it. Debris scatters everywhere- and I fail to pick up all the pieces of my original ideas- and things end up becoming a scattered, unorginized mess.

I've had a crapload of failed ideas. "Damned children" was a comic that I was going to do a while back- about 2 orhpan children cursed with demonic powers- but I couldn't even think up decent character designs.

Then I had this AWESOME idea about an intergalactic porno-business (accidently)discovered by a human high school senior. You're probably frowning at the word "porno"- but I'm no pervert- my main idea was to keep it in-taste, with a reoccuring gag of how different intergalactic mating was. (For example, I had a species that "did it" through poking each other's eyes, a painful experience the protagonist had to unfortunately encounter "first-hand") I came across a complete road-block when I couldn't think up a good design for the boy's father. I had about 10 aliens already figured out, the boy's design, and I even did (top secret)diagrams that explained how the alien porno worked. I loved the ideas that came out of an almost-monthly brainstorm session- so I might pick up this concept later on.
My comics. Take a whiff!

I have a few ideas. One is one that i know that im going to end up making, called NGNH or No Gods No Heroes. It stars a black guy, a goblin and a ninja, will be set in an alternate Greek mythological setting, and will be packed with as much action as possible. thats all i feel like saying about it.

Another idea is one that I just came up with a couple of hours ago. Its called Mage and will be set in the Final Fantasy universe as two mages (White Mage and Black Mage) with a hatred for warriors and melee based classes set out to make a magic only party and make a "better" world.

I have ideas like this floating around in my head all the time. Im just usually to lazy or busy to do anything with them.
"I'm having Deja Vu and Amnesia at the same time. I have a strange feeling I've forgotten all of this before."

I got a whole bunch of stories where you combine the following:

- a conspiracy involving the Illuminati, Satan, and Extraterrestrials. As well as chemtrails, poisoned food and medicine, and mind controlled assassins.
- romance. the love triangle kinda thing.
- dysfunctional drama.
- bloody action and explosions.
- inner demons and hidden powers.
- reincarnation, ghosts, the whole occult deal.
- wars involving Commies, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Atheists, Gangstas, Ninjas, Pirates, basically everyone else... with always some "Mary Sue" type hero/heroine involved.

Cool?
NOW UPDATING!!!

I don't usually get random new ideas, because any lightbulbs I get tend to be spotlights which focus back to the comics I'm already working on. So I'm constantly editing my existing scripts, adding new scenes and (on good days) entire chapters. IMO, better than random ideas for new comics which I'd never get to.

Edit: The porno idea is frickin' awesome. If I were you, I'd edit that post right now and delete that paragraph. If you're not gonna work on that idea soon, it could get stolen.

Mlai's right, Nico. I'm tempted to draw that comic.

One of my ideas is to have a world full of realistic, dysfunctional superheroes. You know, villains raping women and punching babies, and superheroes doped up and such.

Maybe that's too much.

Nadya- a tale about what happens to SOME of us when we die.

Currently: Nadya is awake and asking more relevant questions.

I'm starting to force myself to do more 24-hour comic type projects right now (which is why I've been sorta a no show on the forums and my own comics lately.) I spend a week banging out pencils for a project, I try to hit 24 pages then stop. And when I like a project enough I move on to the ultra time-consuming digital inking phase that takes like an additional month. It's good because I can get alot of ideas down on paper, and I force myself to finish them before I show them to anyone. And I get to see if it's something I really wanna spend my time on. Right now I'm working on a comic about an group of aliens who patrol the galaxy bringing funk to the tragically un-hip. I think forcing myself to think of these projects episodically, or almost as short stories will help me get more accomplished than I have been in the last year.
I also have a story about Zombies at a daycare center coming down the pipeline.
Thats about two and a half months worth of work right there... more if I try to start updating my running comics inbetween.

I need to think of something to call the project (cuz it takes about a month and a half "24hour-comic" just doesn't really cut it.)

I keep coming up with ideas, and I wish it'd stop so I could focus on one comic, already I've had one comic (Desanudeis) fall through, that was gonna be like a bunch of freedom fighters fighting against a Robot regime, and then I had Son of Bin which has recently fallen through, after learning that i'm not as skilled as I think I am, then I had this idea of a Travelling Circus (circa 1870-1920) which has kinda fallen through cos I ran out of ideas to continue the plot, and right now i'm buzzing with ideas that I want to explore but end up becomming far too serious, I'm in the mood to create something anarchistic, but lack the skill to implement it.

And alongside this, I have all my old ideas which i'm barely keeping alive through jotting down as much as possible, I had a really cool idea of like a Lich Demon guy, coming to life during WWI, I knew i'd never be skilled enough to do that, so I roped in a friend to illustrate it, but that fell through when she got sick and fell behind on her college work, I also have the idea of two Film Nerds, who got pissed off with Modern Hollywood and start hunting down Directors they feel are making a mockery of culutre... and that's all my currently active ideas... don't steal them! :P

I have all these ideas buzzing through my head as well, but the problem is making them look as good on the comic page as they do in my mind.
I think I'll wait until my art skills improve before I start on any of them.

I had this one idea when I would make this mario comic. Ends at world 8-4!

For me the more interesting idea would be a Mario Comic that BEGINS at the end of world 8-4. Mario, now having obtained the brass ring, has to deal with the fact that he has already achieved his life's goal and doesn't know what to strive for anymore. His adventuring days are now over and maybe what he thought he wanted wasn't as good as he thought it would be. In general then, it would be about the pitfalls of getting what you want. All of this done in a humorous but still philosophical kind of way (the central question being this: is true sustained happiness possible? Or will people always become dissatisfied with what they have?).

An idea I've had for a while, but know that I'll never have the time to do, is kind of a series of separate but sometimes intersecting stories taking place in a post apocalyptic city. One story involves a father whose daughter has been kidnapped, the increasingly repugnant things he has to do to get her back, and the self-loathing and self-destructiveness he begins to feel during the whole process. Another would involve a micro-society that evolves out of a trash heap. Still another would be a story of the city itself, and how daily life changes as different regimes come and go.

I'd love to dabble in many different genres one day. I've had a couple of ideas that I haven't really developed yet.

Probably the one that I have the most ideas for at the moment is a rather...'classic' fantasy story centering around either one or two girls, some interesting creatures including a VERY ugly witch...thing, and a very hot dark overlord...because there has to be one. XD No unicorns. Maybe dragons because while I like looking at statues and artwork of them, I barely know of any stories I love one in....but I'd probably try to come up with my own fantasy creatures mostly. Too often do fantasy writers resort to elves and unicorns. Nothing wrong with elves and unicorns per say if you like them and want a story centering around them, I mean writers who stick them in just because they're out of ideas. (Then again I'm not one to talk, I think all fantasy stories should have a hot overlord in them. XD)

I think if I did the fantasy story I would probably have better luck either writing it as a book or getting some really PRO artist to draw it....because I'm thinking of some gorgeous (and scary too) and atmospheric fantasy settings that there is no way I'd be able to draw to my liking. I just know it. At the very least a background artist would be needed if I did it in comic form.

I also have come very close to making a pure horror comic involving ghosts and maybe possession, but I can't think of a decent plot to get started with. (And of course I became too busy.)

I'd like to do something very action-packed someday too, though there has been plenty of that in Cwen's Quest so I'm not feeling too deprived of that. XD I've considered doing something involving a lot of either super-human (though not necessarily super HERO) or cyborg battles, or a mobster story.

Most of my new comic ideas adapt themselves to my main comic. So new comic ideas form new story threads in my mind, just waiting to become part of Pinky TA. It's interesting having multiple story threads in my head like that, all different adventures in the timeline of the Pinky TA story.
I think I'll end up writing them in a story format rather than just leaving them for the comic, because my page rate is so slow that they'll never come out if I don't just write them rather than leaving them in the queue to be drawn.

I have one idea that I'm currently working on slowly that goes over the previous world and concepts of my gag-a-day comic Last Words, but in a much more in-depth storyline instead of single frame kind of snapshots into their world.

I've had various other ideas based around the idea of someone being able to "see" the kind of person you are inside. The concept would generally revolve around this person who has developed an ability to see people's true past and morals through how they act towards the rest of the world. It's different from mind-reading, but I have a hard time figuring it out exactly and I'm not entirely sure I like the idea.

I've also had an idea of a sort of crime drama, based around a young man who takes it upon himself to commit acts of revenge and to avenge others with his car. This one got sparked by a real-life story I found in old news archives and the name of a certain model of car that I've wanted since I first learned how to drive. It was kind of random since I just happened to have two internet windows open at the same time and went, "dang, that sounds like it could be a great anti-hero story name."

I've had quite a few "coming of age" stories like Exzachly mentioned too, but I doubt I'd ever get past writing them since I wouldn't want to share them.

My next big comic project (which probably won't happen for years) is going to be about a snake oil salesman in early 20th century America, and his dysfunctional siblings and extended family. It'll be in the same style as "The Hub" as far as the art and the dialogue-heavy writing, but with less cussing and a more centralized plot.

I wanna make a really cartoony type comic called "Grog and Gin: Gutterpunk Goblins". It's about teenage goblin siblings that hop trains and travel around a modern-day fantasy world. Yup.

I also want to make an adult comic called "Twatilla: Urban Barbarian". That's about as far as I've gotten with that idea.

And a kid's comic about the fantastic and surreal adventures my chihuahua has when no one's looking.

I have so many ideas that will probably never see the light of day.

One is a Super Mario story where Mario has been gone from the Mushroom kingdom for over ten years and no one knows where he's been. Turns out he's been getting sucked into different warp zones and spent that last ten years trapped in violent video games. Now he's back, older and more grizzled and is trying to adjust. (I'm actually working on trying to get this one out)

I also had one called Mr. Happy: Toontown Bounty Hunter. This one is about a bounty hunter that goes after cartoons that have delved into lawbreaking activities. Example, the first story revolved around Papa Smurf and his alleged prostitution ring. I'm disturbed I know.

The third was a cute little story about an alien called DWEEB. Which was going to be done completely without dialogue.

I've been writing and drawing forever, so I am always coming up with ideas. But due to time, I"ll just never be able to complete them all.
:(

It's a Grizzly Bear battling Zombies. Do you need to know more?
DOLLAR STORE HAIRCUT A daily webcomic of unfunny.

"Kung Fu Komix is that rare comic that is made with heart and love of the medium, and it delivers" -Zenstrive
"Kung Fu Komix is...so awesome" -threeeyeswurm

I've got too many ideas, haha. There's so many of them that at some point I started to roll various ideas together, to form larger overarching stories rather than a set of several shorter ones. For example din Krakatau is a part of something larger called Amen Cit Chronicles. Overall, I rolled about 15-20 into the entire series as they can fit together and work in a similar setting.

List of "titles" that I started to plot/write is currently about 50-60 long (actually 80, but the remainder of the list is just titles with the idea written down as 2-3 lines).

Ultimately, the ideas aren't importan, it's execution that counts.

I'd like to do more short story comics where I can get to selling 20 page prints after a year. Unfortunately I don't have the time.

Phoenix Curse and Moemon would be good shorts to sell in print.

I got a bunch of slice of life ones. The town of Switchville would be fun and evil to put on the web.

Starfish Identity Crisis would be a great collaboration comic.

All Rodents Must Die is being run over with some new ideas. Might turn it into a scifi and put it between DE and TPCTH.

I've got an idea for a long adventure kinda comic with a Zombie Bunny, along with his hot Witch companion. It's not gonna be an action comic either, but I'll need to use my newly gained gritty art skills :D

I'd also like to use Archound (of my comic, Ryu's Krew) for a solo mission-based comic. In a universe outside of the comic's. It's always been an idea of mine. Who knows if I'll keep using the characters after the comic is done.

I also had another idea for this graffiti artist, who doesn't like to show his face, so he has a gasmask on, that resembles a fox. And he goes around to try and get rid of all the local gangs, by spraying over their tags.

Right now, I have 2 comics ideas:
The first one is a few short stories of people in the city. I can't say too much cause I'm still working on the script :D
The second one is called "The Airheads". It's about a group of grafitti painters that lives on New York rooftops, but I have no idea on the story.

I've got a few on the mind, but I force myself to wait at least a month before bringing anything to light. If its still on the brain, it might not be a gimmick idea but something worth following through on.
