So my friend and I just spent the weekend beating RE5 and, as flawed as the game was, we had a really good time playing it. What other good co-op games are there that we can play together in the same room? I'd specify split-screen but I know some co-op games don't necessarily utilize it--like old school Ninja Turtles.

So yeah, any suggestions?

Not a big Resistance fan, I should mention, beat the first one co-oping with my roommate back when it came out.

I feel like a broken record bringing this up in every "good PS3 games" thread, but Little Big Planet is a great cooperative game.

I've beaten that game ten times over, I think the only achievements I don't have are the creation ones, so I'm quite familiar with the game. We're looking for something more action oriented.

It was a multiplatform title, so yes, it appeared on the PS3.

I've started playing Sacred 2, lately. If you liked the Champions of Norath games or the Baldur's Gate console games, you might like that as well. It's kind of like those dungeon crawlers, but with a large world to explore ala Oblivion. It also supports 2 player coop, although your friend might need to start an account on your system so they can save their character. There is also a bit of an issue with item sharing at the moment, although the devs have claimed they are working on a fix for that.

There is also Marvel Ultimate Alliance and the various Dynasty Warriors games and spin-offs if you're looking for more action oriented gameplay.
