Hello, I'm working on some character concepts for an untitled webcomic I want to launch next Fall. :) I plan to be working on the buffer during Summer.

Without giving any information about the webcomic out, I am curious what y'all think it'll be about based on art alone. What do you think the character's personality is like? What her's job? What do you think is in her pouch? What's her favorite ice cream flavor? The reason why I'm so curious is because I really want my characters to be recognizable for who they are.

Also, what do you think of the over-all image? I'm going to change the color of the orb on her staff, but I'm unsure what to do. :/

Without any background, I don't feel comfortable enough to presume answering the first sets of questions... although I bet she likes strawberry.

I like the overall image very much. She looks adventurous and spirited. That said, I can't discern what age she's supposed to be. Until I noticed her chest area, I presumed she was child aged. I'm left with 'indistinctly young' so that might be something worth addressing.

As for the orb, I don't think the color is bad, although it should stand more apart from the vials(?) on her belt region. I wouldn't go so far as pink, but maybe a deeper violet or yellow?

"You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process," he added. "That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle."

Thanks so much, I'm glad you like the art style! And thank you for addressing the age, this is something I am still working with. :) She's supposed to look naive and innocent, about 16-17 years-old. Without her chest lumps, she looks like a wide-hipped 12 year-old. :( I'll try to figure out how to tackle that!

I definitely need the vials to look more like vials. And thanks for the orb color suggestions! :)

Nice character design! Chernobog pretty much nailed everything I could say about this image. This character appears to be a fantasy adventurer of some type, I'll go out on a limb and say Cleric/White Mage/Healer type. As for what's in her pouch... scrolls... Maybe?
With regards to her age, how important is it really? I swear I'm not trying to be a jackass or anything but it might not even be worth worrying about. I'm not sure if you were even wanting suggestions for making her look older but making her head smaller and her body and limbs longer might help, also juxtaposing her next to younger characters could make her seem more like a teenager as well.
