This is similar to another topic but not enough for me to bring it up there. So tell me If your comic was being made into a movie who would you want in those rolls? Personally I don't much care for actors but I would want Steven Chow to direct!

I'd want to cast jessica alba as shanna but jessica alba single handedly ruins every movie she's ever been in so i'll cast Jamie Lynn spears instead.

Since this a movie and my comic contains lesbian (omg gross)i'll switch Amy's gender and cast male Shia lebeuf(from transformers) as jamie spears/shanna's boyfriend.

Layla will be the evil bully(keira knightly) and her evil twin Lynn(natalie portman) will try to break apart Jamie and Shia LEBouf!

Oh and to get even more appeal to the liberal teenage audience i'll have jamie/shanna be pregnant and fight to keep the baby against all logic and the fact that she's only 16, sending a message to teenagers everwhere! yes!

for Putrid Meat, i'd probably just find a prison, dress the convicts up to look like the characters and video tape all the shit they did. would probably end up like this though:

aw damn...

Oh, Lord...I don't know. It's hard for me to picture real actors as my characters, so I really can't say who I'd pick. :/

Then pick a director like I did... Who would you like?
Oh yeah... Skullbie I think that movie has Oscar written all over it.

Due East would take a leap of logic in casting but I'll give it a shot.

Halle Berry as Crystal Mills (she's about the right age and could definitely act the part).

Kiely Williams (from The Cheetah Girls) as Sapphira Hu. She would have to gain weight for the role, though (probably 50 pounds easily). She doesn't really look mixed so I don't know if special makeup would be appropriate or not.

Brenda Song (we'll just use the whole Just So Raven cast! Why not? lol! ) as Brielle Mills (with perhaps a tad of special makeup to make her look mixed). Brielle looks more Asian than Sapphira, though, so it might work.

Selena Gomez (sticking with the Teen Disney casting) as Carolyn. The main thing they'd need to adjust on her is her hair (color and style, it would need to be big hair and with reddish tint)

Jet Li as Douglas Hu. That's a bit of a stretch, since he's 1st generation but if he didn't mind doing a drama/comedic role, it might work. :)

Raven-Symone would be the perfect Lindsay Steury. She'd need to have the goth hairstyle but she could easily play the part.

Man, that took forever to figure out... *whew*

While live action would suit my story very nicely, I typically prefer casts of "unknowns." However, I could easily picture some "stars" in certain roles...

Aaron Eckhart would make a good Fudo. At least, I think so. He has similar features and the correct sort of (outlaw?) aura.

Pierce Brosnan would definitely be Raidon. He's got the right look, is the right age, and can really play that sophisticated villain role.

I can picture Sandra Bullock as Kaida. Again, she's the right age and has a good range as an actress. (Can play a sensitive woman who wants to and does appear hardened and emotionless.)

Thora Birch as Seiko. I think she really looks the part more than any other "known." I can picture her in the right costume.

As for Yuki, the closest I can come up with is Reese Witherspoon. She has a lot of the qualities I think would suit the role, but she's not a perfect fit because Yuki should be more on the heavy/curvy side.

It would be a toss-up between Kevin James and Mark Addy for Toyo (assuming Toyo is in the movie...). They have their individual strengths that would fit the role well.

I really can't think of casting for the other characters (men in their 20's and 30's). Not that there aren't good ones, but I'm mostly out of touch with the "young" actors.

Gahaha Wasso would be that kid from Charlie Bartlett who plays Murphy.

Oh man yes, if you guys get that, I will love you forever.

Ah yeah man, awesome.

*daydreams*

(Can't believe I kept forgeting to put that nom. up...)

As I usually say for topics like this, "big actors for voice acting, unknowns for live-action acting".

Though I've been meaning to try this....

Daniel Day-Lewis as Orlock!

Holy crap, I was just going to post this as a joke mostly...but looking at this and...err...ignoring my "hair" (picture something more real and less cartoony looking?) and the out-of-character outfit, the guy might actually be able to pull it off. o___O

Whatever actor would play Orlock would definitely end up tripping over their wig half the time...XD, perhaps they'd need to make it more realistic and shorter for their sake.

I haven't considered any other actors for the VP cast though...

Actors, huh? Hmmmm... no idea, haha. I don't really pay attention to actors, and even if I do, my shitty memory converts everything into "hey, didn't I see this guy in some other movie?" kind of comments.

Johnny Depp as Damien

Jessica Alba as Cassie

Robert Deniro as Samuel

Alan Rickman as Drake

That's all I can think of for now.

Quentin Tarantino or Tim Burton would direct. Johnny Depp would be Spider Jack. Michael Keaton as Hangman Sam. Dakota Blue Richards as Annabel Lee. Rosario Dawson as Lucine. Jordan Ladd as Araby. And Danny Elfman would probably do music. ^_^

I responded to a similar question a while back. The answer is basically the same but here goes for the Surrealist:

Isla Fisher as Gretchen a.k.a The Surrealist
Paul Rudd as Eddie and the voice of the Surrealist manifesto
Casey Affleck as Detective Gardner
Kat Dennings as plant girl.

Oh, this is a fun one. The following are my ideal choices for VOICE-ACTORS in an animated type thing, as my comic is way too cartoony to be done live-action.

GANTER - Christian Slater

MARK - John Travolta OR Jeff Bridges

TIM - John Goodman (can you tell I'm a Big Lebowski fan?)

SEAN - Allan Carr (he's a british comedian and TV presenter famous for being really, really, flamboyantly gay)

GRAHAM - Quentin Tarantino

EDUARDO - Benicio Del Toro

ZARG - Tom Cruise

ZORKLORD - Whoever did Lirr in Futurama.

For The Burnhams:

Scott - Paul Walker (with a long hair and attitude)

Fetch - Elden Henson (with a black moustache and black hair, he would be fine... it's Hollywood, they create miracles.)

Sonya - Eliza Dushku

Ann - Abigail Breslin

Orin Clerk - Ryan Phillippe

The Bosser - Kevin Costner (with Hollywood's magic... he could get a long moustache for the role :p)

he he... those are the actors are good enough to portray The Burnhams' characters. :p

Enjoy... Las Vegas-y

This is a toughie. My comic would have to be 99% CGI, so we'll stick to voice actor. (Which is in some ways easier because it doesn't matter what they look like)

The Knight: James Marsden

Dale the Lobster: Jacque Cousteau (or really anyone who could do the voice (for obvious reasons))

Gladys (the Loch Ness Monster): Kate Beckinsale

George the Dragon: Hugh Laurie

I'm not 100% sold on this list, but it will do for now. :D
Find out what George is up to:
[..]

Go! Visit George or he may have to eat you!*
*Disclaimer: George may or may not eat violators depending on hunger level and scarcity of better tasting prey.

I actually did this a while back. Here are my old links.

Amy would be played by Aoi Miyazaki. Here is a picture of her. (Amy's half white, but do you know how hard it is to find a half white, half asian actress? HARD!)

Kate would probably be played by Kaley Cuoco, if she cut her hair a bit, dyed it and learned how to act.

Jace: http://www.newfaces.com/donricomehdi An unknown, but visually he fits.

I thought about it, and if I was in charge of casting a Lucky Dawg movie, here's how I'd go.

Larry Wulff - Justin Hartley

Reason: Let's face it, Larry will get less screen time than Lucky, so I'd say go with a newcomer. Smallville's Green Arrow brings the exact build, look and age to the character.

Sabra - Annalynne McCord

Reason: Keep an eye on this one. And her career as well. You may remember her bit part in the beginning of Transporter 2 or her role as the as the evil jailbait temptress in last season's Nip/Tuck. Now she's going to be one of the main characters in the new 90210 show. Very hot.

Pam Gunn - Scarlett Johansson

Reason: The entire movie isn't going to be filled with all unknowns. Right build, can act, and she looks good with short hair. I'm not a fan of short hair on women, but she pulls it off.

Darreon - Dwayne Johnson

Reason: It's very hard to find someone with a strong build with a strong personality to go with it. The Rock is that rare find.

Lucky Dawg - Peter Jackson's Weta Digital effects, voice by Common

Reason: I thought Weta's King Kong looked great. I see them using a tall dancer to wear the ping-pong ball suit that would act with the others. Now I was scratching my head on Lucky's voice. It had to sound tough, not squeaky or dopey. I had some ideas, but they all sounded too old. Then I had Smokin' Aces on in the background while I was on the computer, and one of Common's scenes were on. I turned around and thought, "That's not bad. He could be Lucky."

I'll cast Pinky TA with DD people, just for fun. :)

Let's see...
-Bravo is beardy, experienced, and complex enough to be Captain Rasovich.
-Wingnut has the all American good looks and fit enough bod to be Ace Kincaid.
-Arashi san could be Vlad, he's pretty right for it.
-Pixie could be The Secretary. She has he right hair, and dark manner... but actually a bit too skinny to be right.
-Katch could do Cc. Not sure who else, but that one needs a skinny person who can be evil.
-Aurora Moon, NolleDReveves/babyDollDaily, Juno, and mebe some others could be Pinky. It depends. She's THE main character, so she's hard to cast.
Plus, I'd love to make people do her outfit :)
