I bought a domain name for a future site but until I finish the site I want the address to point to my comic here, is this possibele?

It's generally possible to get your domain redirected to whatever website you like, ask the ISP how you have the domain name deal with who to do it, they usually have good methods set up to make the process easy.
I did that myself with PinkyTA.com :)
I use Godaddy hosting.
