This show, from what I've seen, is a heck of a lot better than the US version. It seems truer, less generated. Maybe I'm just getting cynical about Americans being shallow when it comes to voting for someone with talent versus someone that's good looking.
Talk about not judging a book by it's cover. Here's Paul Potts.
If you weren't moved by that, I feel sorry for you. He went on to win the whole thing, by the way. I don't think he would have had a chance in the US version. He now has a record deal and several well-deserved fan sites. I hate opera, and I even like the guy!
And this one is cute. Stay tuned for Simon's comments. ;)

Plus I know they would also say "it's not the style of music we're looking for". They want it all to sound the same. =/ I like how that Simon guy's face suddenly goes "Derr?!" when he starts singing. XD

Simon is great. When he promised a deal with that little girl, then turned it down, I knew...
He was the celebrity version of me.

Ironically, NBC's THE WEAKEST LINK turned out to be NBC's weakest link! ;)
Really though, that show sucks. I don't know about the UK version, but if the rules are the same, I wouldn't like it.
But, eh. We both do it

Ones that surprised me the most:
- Three's Company
- All in the Family
