Cartoon Network sucks nowadays.

I know it's not as "classic" as some would say, but I miss Beast Wars.
That was the only kind of Transformers that I got into.

Ditto.
Or...even making something new that could BECOME classic would be nice. I don't watch anything animated on tv. Except sometimes The Simpsons and Creature Comforts.

Whenever i see shows I thought were great as a kid I find it immensely disappointing. They were pretty much just as stupid as the stuff that's on today, you just didnt know it cause you were too hopped up on go-gurt

Problem i really think is the TV industry is either bringing in freaking anime from Japan, or bringing new less experienced animators into the industry. There are few if any animation directors or artists who are experienced and have had very sucessful shows. My solution:
Get freaking Steven Spielberg back in the industry. I mean c'mon, who didn't like Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, or my personal favorite FREAKAZOID!!!
The guy created 3 instant classic award winning cartoons. Every kid loved getting up saturday morning to watch the cartoon. It was a freaking Golden Age, Spielberg had set a bar and everybody was competing to meet it. We need some genius like that back in the industry.

Blah. Even anime bores me these days. The only animated show worth watching on TV at the moment is probably Avatar, and it's not even ON TV at the moment (even reruns are off for now).
The last good anime on TV was Paranoia Agent, but that show is so much better in japanese. At least Adult Swim still has Robot Chicken and Venture Bros.

I keep finding this to be true. I think there are exceptions, though.

Toonami has changed so much. I remember when it played things like DBZ, and even Hamtaro, only god knows why. I remember the original dude of Toonami gets killed and then TOM 2 comes out, they get new engines and everything. Now they have a crew. It's gone from cool to nearly lame.
TOM has alwyas been solo with the worker bots, whats the deal?

What would be awesome is if they dubbed the original Kinnikuman anime and brought it over here.
Just as long as 4Kids wasn't behind it.

I miss 3D moltar showing episodes of Rototech, Dragonball Z, Gundam Wing (I think it was wing, too many gundams), Reboot, and my daily dose of Thundercats. I almost bought the box sets of the thundercats. I remember liking the midnight run a lot. Then they started the midnight runs as a weekly feature, a few shows were great (yu yu, another gundamn show, and I think thats where they first showed Cowboy bebop, but the rest were shitty.) I just can't get into Inuyasha. I dunno, it just seems really faggy to me. I'm starting to lessen my hatred for anime since I really want to like Blue Dragon when it comes out. I just wish anime wasn't the ONLY thing going, they need more cheap hanna-barberay cartoons. Or possibly a resurgance of great cartoon cartoons. All the first run Cartoon Cartoons were great, stuff like Cow & Chicken, Johnny Bravo, Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, a lot of good stuff. Around 2003ish is when it all went downhill for cartoons. When they made the ninja turtles into a "serious buissness" anime, I knew it was over.

As much as people badmouth cartoons from like, the 80s and early 90s, you have to give them credit for at least trying to be creative. Everything American-produced today for kids is pretty lame to me. Its like they intentionally want to make kids dumber rather than expand the imagination with a bunch of detailed adventures.
Between something like Ducktales or Spongebob.. If I had kids, Id rather them watch old eps of Ducktales on DVD than Spongebob.
I also cant really get into the squared-off character designs (can't think of the guy that started that at the moment) and flash animation look to everything now either.
Though square chinned Batman of the 90's was much better than wierd, scrawny face Batman.
Also, I remember before Toonami and Cartoon Cartoon, Cartoon Network showed only the old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 50s-early 90s with a few exceptions like the G-Force incarnation of Gatchaman. I think that was the only anime they had.
They even showed Pirates of Dark Water back then! T-T
I really liked CN back then and now they dont show any of them..
Although I think that channel Boomerang is that format now.

Exceptions like The Tick? Toon Disney at least still shows The Tick! Then again, it's the old shows that they put on TV that I like to watch. Maybe we're becoming like our parents who are still into rock music.
Wanna know what's the worst? They've made a Bratz TV show. I almost vomited after 30 seconds of watching it. I was thinking that the reason old TV shows were better was because we were younger, but then I saw that crap and it opened my eyes to just how bad children's television is getting. When I saw the trailer for the Bratz movie, I said "Someone's going to hell for this".
highest rating so far has been #11 in comic books, #13 overall. It's pageviews are almost half a million!!

Bring back the Superfriends because Superman and his friends should make a comeback along with the Wonder Twins. Let's not forget their arch enemies the Legion of Doom. We wanna see the Superfriends again!
Legacyhero and i are doing a Kid Intense/Hero Force crosover which will be a blast. Also, we are teaming up for a Kid Intense movie. Tell me what you think of the crossover and the movie we are teaming up.

Oh Dear God, the horror!
Or whore-or. (ba-dum-tish!)
And I do NOT want to see the Superfriends again. Especially not after learning about the Wonder Twins incest.
