If you take a look at the top of my comic pages you see an annoying border to the left, top and bottom of my banner. I tried increasing the size of the banner but the black border increased with the banner size. I would go into html but I'd prefer not to.
I bet the solution will be obvious and I'll feel a bit of a herb.

The only way to change it is to use cutom code or a different home page template. :(
If I were you though, I'd turn off the home page feature altogether, most readers don't like it- that's what I tend to fine anyway. I don't much like it myself.
