Well, I am planning to update on Mondays, because I can work on my comic mostly on weekends, but I was wondering, is there a day that is better than the others? Would you recommend to update a certain day of the week?

Mondays are really good for updating, Tuesday is fairly good, too.
Wednesday is a really bad day to update, Thursday is a lot better.
Friday is the best day to update, and Saturday is worse (but not as bad as Wednesday).
Finally, Sunday is an underused but decent day to update.

Overall- ranked 1 to 7, 1 the best and 7 the worst:
1- Friday (good to give people the whole weekend to see your work)
2- Monday (really good for humor comics, not so for a serious comic)
3- Tuesday (better for serious comics)
4- Sunday (the most underused, BUT not a bad update day at all- a good time for color)
5- Thursday (always seems to fall behind Friday's shadow)
6- Saturday (people aren't usually checking for updates or they're busy outside)
7- Wednesday (ugh. Hump day is the worst day. People are really just waiting for the weekend)

I use Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, myself for Dawn of a New Era . A lot of people use Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Few use Saturday, and even fewer use Sunday.

I don't think it really makes that much difference. When I first started at DrunkDuck I had a fairly large archive to upload so I posted a new page each day, the only days that seemed to be noticed less than any other were those posted on weekends. Pick whatever day works best for your schedule and try to stick to it as long as your update day is clearly stated and reliable people will come on that day.

I update Wednesday and Saturday, true there are fewer people checking for comics on those days, but there are also fewer comics updating so those people that are looking are more likely to see my comic.

I agree with Kytri. You should pick something that seems logical to you (and it sounds like you have) and work at a pace that allows you to maintain it. I really, really wish I could update more than once a week, but....I have to work!)
