Ever had a comment which really stood out from the rest. Is there someone who you really hope comments on your pages when you update?

If so tell us about it here.

When Due East finally started getting regular commenters, I just hope they comment on each page. And any additional commenters are always welcome. :)

I don't want to pick a particular one because so many of them are touching and thoughtful, from the heart.

I've always loved this comment:

But in reality, I'm just happy to even get comments.

Comments from me used to be incredibly common, now it's quite the opposite.

I barely comment comics anymore, unless I love you.
Please, please, you give me too little credit.

I like comments from "the regulars" who come back and read often or even daily. When they don't, I always miss them. The "drive-by" commenters don't make too much impact (especially if there isn't much to the comment). Don't get me wrong, I love every comment, but the people actually following the story always have the most interesting things to say, and I love to see what sorts of things they are anticipating.

I also really love to see someone commenting in my archives. That makes my day. :)

The long comments are great. I always look forward to hearing from Peipei and Locoma -- maritalbliss left me lots of fun long ones, even some anecdotes. However, it's been a few short ones that made me smile the biggest (or do a spit-take).

maritalbliss
My guess...She married him because the sex was awesome. That's my guess.

And about 100 pages later...
maritalbliss
...told you it was because of the hot monkey love.

This one was simply put, but made me smile.
Triss
Ooh. Stabby time. xDDD

*Pokes maritalbliss.* Come back! We miss you!

Horizon has about ten "regulars" - and I'm grateful to them all!

The one who has given the clearest feedbag (tips, crit and such) must've been TheMidge28.
The ones commenting most often.. I guess usedbooks and Ladyknight17.
But I also gotta mention KamiDaHobo, Broken Aroow, RapidoBlue, Peipei, XeaRi, Blackmoon, Normalman, Polo, DAJB...

This one made me snicker :D

Ladyknigt17
I'd say...this qualifies as a bad day.

What's funny, the best comment I ever got was a negative one. Because I completely agreed with it. This was for my Dying to Live comic.

Mimarin
This comic has one of the most awsome titles in existance, but the art is so damn hideous i can't bring myself to read more than 3 pages of it

i put all my favorite comments on my home page along the side of the cover image. some of them are awsome and i use them as publicity for my comic. Here's what i have there now.

Should have this on adult swim.

hahaha...now my eyes are watery....ahaha ^^

Awesome comic. Simple, yet awesome.

fucking rofl sorry for the french...but fucking rofl

you have got the right idea here, and something very great. im envious. well done. all very funny and clear

Stop firing off missles in the house!

That's freakin' hilarious!

tight comic totally digging it.

OMG i just died from laughter!

This is the funniest comic!

your comic rocks my socks.

The writing in this comic is incredible. It's smart, and usually has more than one punchline in every comic! That's awesome.

Lol, not the smartest team on the planet.

Love this comic. Love the writing. Love the characters. Love.

Don't stop making these. They're happy pills for my soul!

Man, that was fantastic. I find the team's disregard for property damage or human life hilarious.

If you can't beat 'em, taunt 'em!

all your villains are brilliant

This comic is so friggin' awesome

HOLY CRAP DID I JUST LAUGH MY ASS OFF!

The *blink blink* was great, but the silent handing over of the hat made me pee myself!

stupid evil genious...

The writing in this surpasses the comic's art as a whole--however, anything more serious than this look would be over-doing it.

Thank god for that censor bar.

LOL, this is one of the funniest comics ever

Never bitch slap the man with the guns!

I love this comic! I read them all yesterday and couldn't wait to read the new one today. ME = FAN!

I love the people who post scores without saying anything at all.

Actually, my favorite comment of all time wasn't even on my comic. I believe it was before the last crash, so it's probably lost. Anyway, I was reading Vampire Phantasm, and the character Jill picked the lock on a door in one scene. Naturally, I pointed out that Jill was the master of all lock-picking, to which the author responded with, "ALL Jills can pick locks."

And I laughed and laughed.

Gotta love those moobs in the last panel.

that made me giggle, AND feel guilt-pangs for drawing one of my fave characters with strange little moobs.

another funny one:
TomCC
Cool! By the way, boys and men rarely sit with their thighs together, King looks like he's hiding what's under a miniskirt.

I guess I like the critical comments ^_^!

I remember one time Theorah left this anecdote about a teacher throwing a chair at her... haha, I can't remember under what context it was, but theorah's been reading my comic since forever and her comments are just priceless. like this one:

theorah
I'll leave you with a joke...
As two old ladies are sitting on a bench, a naked man runs by! One of the old ladies has a stroke!! *gasp!*....and the other couldn't reach!! yaha!

oh hilarious!!!!
I love all my comments though, although I prefer ones that speculate about upcoming events, or give personal opinions on characters and stuff (although I get very sensitive when people say they hate any of my characters, it feels like they're saying they hate ME!!! ;_;!!!!)

Mlai is probably my favorite out of people that have commented. She gave a very long critiquing to try and help me improve and I really appreciated it!

Dark Clown is my favorite regular commenter. He's always wondering what will happen next and getting involved in the story and characters. And that, like others above have said, is such a good feeling!

But I love every commenter! Even the blank 5 guys that are just letting me know they are reading! And if you leave a message I will respond in my next update.

Read "The Devon Legacy".

YOU GOTTA LOVE DD COMMENTS AND COMMENTERS. This is just a few.

Alejkhan is my comic stalker; usally one of the first to comment. Oh and I'm her comic stalker too.

Mina Lunga has psychic powers and makes strong accurate guesses as to what might happen. Her critiques are useful too.

Kyubol
Pepe is turning into a super saiyan.

As you can see in the first panel, he's charging up... they do that in DBZ all the time... charge up until such a point where it looks like shit gonna come outta their asses... :(

lol anyway... Pepe is struggling cuz he cant contain the great great power in him... :P

Kyubol is funny. Says alot of the jokes I think about but never say.

Simonitro
Scout feels childish jumping on their mother's tombstone! Starla seems a bit depressed in a way!

Starla can go to her sister and Scout can go to Luka, at the moment!

Simonitro's my own personal comic narrator.

Obsidian
Hoo boy. This comic is something else. Ummm ... so when is he going to get the whole transfomring into a human thing properly (you know, like base his human form off of Tyson Beckford (or however you spell that handsome man's name) or something? I'm single now and could use a smoking hot emo demon liver err lover. Hehe, demon lover yes, liver no ... I don't eat them ... lol. =*w*=

Obsidian is Saturno's fangirl. :P

One thing I like is when I ask a question- even something random like "so how was your day?" in my newspost and people answer it in their comments. It makes it so much more interactive and fun. ^_^

My favorite comments are the ones when people notice small details that I figure no one will ever see.

My favorite two comments, are both, for some reason, the only real critique I've gotten as of yet.

LeFarce's comment on this page
http://www.drunkduck.com/Pokemon_Yellow_Comics/index.php?p=63771

(note: he's referring to the old template)

and Aura Wolf's comment on this page
http://www.drunkduck.com/BIONICLE_Zeroes/index.php?p=266247

Yeah, both are really the few critiques I have. No idea why. I think my readers tend to be more polite than they should be.

Anyway, I always look forward to recieving comments from Superpee and PokemonChamp, since they comment frequently enough to make me feel that they really enjoy my comic, which I am proud of.

Not many people have commented on Better Luck Next Time ...

Still, I appreciate anyone who has a word for me - GOOD or BAD. I've enjoyed marine of penis fame's banter - especially when he shares his personal experiences in school (Loved his comment on my research profile for DETENTION)

marine
I could write essay after essay about the various ways I was disciplined in school. I've done the writing on a chalk boar thing, in school suspension, suspension (which is basicly just a vacation), saturday school, I've been yelled at, made to sit outside of class, put off in a corner desk by myself in grade school and tons of other things. Its not that I was a bad kid (just like how I'm not a bad guy either) people just take stuff that I do the wrong way and get mad. Some people wanted to fight, so ya know ya gotta defend yourself. Often I was the one who got in trouble or blamed for things, and because I've always been the outcast, I was to blame for everything.

I know that stuff had a negative effect on me. Its one thing to put a kid in time out, but to make them sit away from the other kids for the vast majority of the school year is just brutal and unnecessary.

My best and favorite commenters have been two lovely ladies with a whole lot of grace - For those who have received comments from them, you'll agree...

Lynn of Marital Bliss - as a fellow educator, she really gets my comic!

-AND-

DD Award nominee Tera of Tera Forming fame! I miss you Tera - hope you come back soon! She was the first person to FAVE me when I got here in June.

That reminds me, I have a lot of commenting to catch up on!

I like comments on elements of my story and plot. I've got a lot of nice commentors, Barb and Tantz are two wonderful ones with comments I look forward to. Simonitro, Junoblair, Darwin leave great comments. And there's Hamorhage (oneminutecomics) whose been there since the very start, Same with Alejkhan, SarahN, Nick... Oh and so so many cool people that make doing it worthwhile- EinKun, Kam, JIllyfoo, magicalmisfits, SpANG, Marine, Kyupol, Tea green, Bazil, Lothar, Hero, Conned, coinilius, legendkiller13... and more.

I look forward to them all. :)
