Was supposed to be just a quick sketch but it took off from there, will color it eventually. :) Used the same approach as my last few comics pages with the separate scanning.

Novel idea, I like it!

"You tell yourself to just
enjoy the process," he added. "That whether you succeed or fail, win or
lose, it will be fine. You pretend to be Zen. You adopt detachment, and
ironic humor, while secretly praying for a miracle."

Gah! That is AWESOME!!! I totally wanted to be a paleontologist when I was a kid, and I've always been a geek for dinosaurs ^_^
I agree, that's some fantastic line art you got going on there! Stark, dark shadows like you have in here are my bane. I just can't do them without it looking like crap to me! These look so crisp and not like you gobbed black all over it because there was a mistake! (That's what mine ends up like at least...)

Anyway, it's so cuuuuute!

Thanks a ton Amelius! I appreciate the feedback! ^w^

And yeah i used to hate doing dark shadows since they turned out so blobby, the key for me is to pick a lightsource and mold the shadows to the form of the creature. People are really hard for me to do this with though without them looking 50 gah x[

Beautiful line work! I love how you've manipulated the thicknesses to bring the characters into the foreground, and full blacks to separate the leaves in the front from them.
The composition works really well too; I love how you've framed it with the vegetation.

And, of course, tiny T-rex arms are always a wonderful sight XD
