Agree, that will just make them look out of character, and that's something I don't want to see in a real-life adaption film.

Considering it is a Western cartoon and not an anime, I don't see why they would change it that much. At the very least, ethnicities would remain the same.

I hope they focus on Azula...and pick a hot actor for her. Also i thought it was a troll at first that M.Knight shamalan was doing it, when i found out i thought it was going to suck worse than space chimps.

The creators said that he was being so true to the material, the creators themselves were telling him to cut things out. Good sign.
He's going to have to work his butt off when they get to the 3rd movie.
Oh, and Zuko and Azula agni kai + actors = laughable results. They'll need to be seriously in shape, or else there'll be a ton of computer editing.
