So I just started on this game and it seems pretty good. Probably the two biggest faults so far to me are..
1: De future is involved! ....for some reason? It's like they wanted to make a Medieval game but HAD to include Matrix-like numbers into the mix.
2: Okay, first real mission! I need to kill nine guys. Now WHERE THE HELL AM I GOING?! Freakin' maps and objectives are CONFUSING.

Other than that it seems to be all decent fun. :) Running across roofs and leaps of faith, WEE~!

What are your opinions on this game? I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but...meh.

I played through it about half way. I thought it was pretty good. The plot line is. . . horrible, and I'm being fair. But I can just about ignore that. The combat isn't great, but if you're a lot of it then you're probably playing the game wrong anyway.

I found the objectives a bit confusing as well. I solved this by just doing all of them. It's best to go that route, as exploring is a lot of fun. More so than actually doing the missions.

I liked how people gawk and comment when you start doing stuff like climbing walls and hurling yourself off roofs as well.
Hey buddy, you should be a Russian Cosmonaut, and here's why.

The only thing I have to complain about the game is those Figgen controlls!
MCcain IS cancer.

I have it for PS3 and I didn't like the repetitive gameplay. I got bored after playing it for a few days. ...I also didn't like how you were super-powered in the beginning, and then they stripped you of all the wonderful goodness so you had to work for it. Thought that was sort of silly. Why would I want to be powerful, then un-powerful?

Ah, yes, this game.

Truthfully, I got used to the controls to where I was able to slaughter like over 30 guys with ease, and the counters made it nice and easy to do in particular once you regained the ability to use them. >_<

But as far as the exploring thing. I did all the stuff in the sities they had you do, like climb to high places to help made your map more open, but as far as finding those flags or certain kinds of soldiers, I just didn't get into that. I also felt the whole future thing was a bit silly. Couldn't they have made a game simply set in the time you play?

It makes you wonder if Assassin's Creed 2 is going to take place in the future time as wel or something.
