New Zealanders usually don't make up a huge percentage of the online population - but if you're reading this -- are you thinking of going to the Auckland Armageddon in October? Its the only real con in the country each year, so its worth going to.

well, Christchurchs Armegeddon was ok, but Wellington was really really horrible by all accounts. So, maybe, but it's unlikely. Also, Conspiracy II is on this weekend, and it has that guy from Mega Tokyo there. Piro, or what ever that guys handle is.

Any details on what was wrong with the Wellington Armageddon? I hope it isn't the same story when it hits Auckland again in October.

It'd be interesting to hear from the Mega Tokyo guy. Not that I know much about his work, but it would be good to know more about going from online to print and stuff.

It was ok, just really dead in the NZ comics scene. Apparantly we have to pay for our booths now, unlike before, and so, when the Artists ghetto which never really got any visitors anyway was even more deserted than before it really bit the big one.

But, then, Armaggedon is more of a family event than a real live 'Con' at the mo'.
