now I'm getting the "cannot complete your request due to a progam error"

every time I try to draw in photoshop... it's friggin' annoying! and yes, I tried restarting and everything.

any idea on how to fix this?

try un-installing and re-installing the program.

Ugh, I was afraid you'd say that. I've uninstalled it and then installed it again before for another error, and it took forever.

I don't want to do that again...

I found out that the only way it would let me draw is if my brush sizes were under 30 pixels.

any idea why this is?

I managed to fix it. and no it wasn't fucked up brush settings.

in fact I don't know how the hell it happened. :S all I did was run spysweeper, found some traces of malware and then restart...

and then started up photoshop to try to fix the problem, and then all of a sudden it was fine.

Hmm, maybe the malware was using up the memory/processing time that PS needed to run? PS is a bastard for that sort of thing, espcially when you make a bigger brush for some reason.
