Ahem, I'd just like to point out that it is impossible to get 4 or less points, meaning that to be a thief you can only answer C's and even one B' will make you a mage. This test is rigged!
Also, Skullbie uses stolen chocolate for her makeup, as witnessed by her avatar :D

Warrior naturally. And would everyone please remember that "armor" is singular?
Armors refers to more than one suit of armor as in "there are many armors to choose from" Preferred usage however is "types of armor" However, one person only ever wears armor
Now my test: tell me specifically what a coulet, couter, gorget and pauldron are without using wikipedia or google.
How much does a suit of chain mail weigh and on what part of the body does that weight mostly rest?
What is a man-at-arms as opposed to a knight?
Would a knight in full plate armor in the 15th Century carry a kite or heater?
Why did a 17th Century breast plate have a small dent in the upper left hand corner?

bravo1102I only remember the last two- Neck armour and shoulder armour respectively.
Now my test: tell me specifically what a coulet, couter, gorget and pauldron are without using wikipedia or google.
bravo1102No idea, but it's bloody heavy and most is on head and shoulders... because it all hangs down.

bravo1102That guy that followed He-man around like a gay sugar-daddy. :)
What is a man-at-arms as opposed to a knight?
I think they're sort of like a Sargent.
bravo1102It would depend on what country they were from wouldn't it? Armour was very culture specific. Those are shield types... Kite type shields were used earlier though generally, by chainmail armoured knights. The heater is the one we call a "shield" shape these days though, if I remember right, and that would be the one your 15thC knights used.
Would a knight in full plate armor in the 15th Century carry a kite or heater?
bravo1102That would be for their firearms?
Why did a 17th Century breast plate have a small dent in the upper left hand corner?

Damn, I need to pick up a lot of stuff before I get around to my "huge fantasy saga" :P
I sort of knew the chainmail ...without weight, although someone told me years before, I just forgot.
Just my luck, having a second cousin who's in some knights brotherhood (or however these things are called in english) and never be able to catch him to pick his mind about all the relevant stuff :P

The dimple in the 17th century breast plate was from a bullet being fired into it to test it.
The shield question is kind of a trick question. A 15th century knight in full plate armor often didn't carry a shield. If he did he would use a heater. Kite shields were gone by the 13th Century. The operative phrase was full plate armor If someone carried a kite shield it meant he would not be wearing full plate.
A hauberk of chain weighs 30-40 pounds. About the same as modern body armor.
Which has better weight distribution; modern body armor or a suit of full plate armor?
What is a carracole?

No. It's set in a cab. However, this cab is unlike any other. As got in, he noted with discomfort the eerie license plate that said "Fresh" and the dice in the mirror.
