Hi. I can't find rules for DD comics anywhere. Is that because there aren't any posted? Or because I haven't looked hard enough (I have looked pretty hard though)?
If there are rules, could someone link me?
Mostly, I'm wondering if a real-life dynamic comic photo reference library and/or a tutorial "comic" is kosher!? Neither would be a comic... but both would be for comic artists... and both would be "on-request" too.
Thanks in advance.

No rules eh? There should be some kind of link and page for that organised eventually... Ah well. DD isn't too strict about comics as long as adult content is rated and people don't use stolen work or try and attack others.
There were some rules up in the forum I thought, but all I can find there are the forum rules now :(
Anyway, regarding your enquiry, those "comics" would be fine to have, as long as they don't conflict with those thing I mentioned up there, which they probably won't. If you're still unsure, PM an admin like SpANG, Skoolmunkee, Black_Kitty or Ronson.

Thanks.
Seems like there'd be rules someplace... but yeah, I couldn't find any either.

Basically Ozone covered it, no child porn either (or whatever else illegal stuff), and don't use DD as an image dump - there are other sites for that.
Using it for resource-type activities (especially if they're on DD to be shared) is great though - there are accounts that are community projects, tutorials, etc.
I'm not really sure what you mean by a "real-life dynamic comic photo reference library" - that sounds like an awfully big project that could just end up being a big assembly of random images (aka an image dump). If you can come up with some sort of categorization or keyword method which would show up in the page titles maybe (just ideas here), that would work because then it's a reference library and not a shoebox full of pictures. :) Maybe even add some commentary in the author's notes, like "this picture is a great example of foreshortening making the jump look bigger than it really is" ... :s

Thanks for your answers skool. I definitely intend it to be a true comic book reference library, and not an dump for whatever picture I feel like making DD host.
I have so much free time that I like to fill it with stupid crap like this. Yay for being self-employed (sort of).
