The way stats are done look strange to me...grouped in tens. Is it accurate? And by some chance, is there a way to tell where the visitor is coming from? (e.g. google, etc.)

If you want more accurate stats you'll have to sign up for a third party free stat tracker (there are many available, just Google them), and include the code on your page. -The one Google provides though doesn't work on DD pages. Ironically. (at least in my experience)

The DD stat tracker is reasonably good usually, although it does indeed group in 10s and it doesn't distinguish between uniques and reloads.

but what does that mean, it groups in 10? Does that mean if you have 70 pg views you really only have 7? or does it mean you have roughly 70? like if it's 68 or 73 DD will call it 70?

can I make a suggestion? you guys should have a a way to search the forums.

That's right. I'm not sure exactly how generous the counter is with rounding up - like, say, if it'll round 76 up to 80, or if it would have to be a little higher to get rounded to 80 - but it's still very useful in general.

Does the counter discount (disallow, not count, however you want to say it) your own pageviews, or are they grouped in with all others?

I believe they're grouped in with the others.
