This is technically a media discussion but it's so far out there that it has to be posted here.
Featuring: Battle for Milkquarius.
The most amazing rock opera ever made.... about milk.
It will be aired on http://www.milkquarious.com tomorrow on October the 5th. Right now it's airing a trailer and it looks allot like a spoof on 70s hero movies akin to Barbarella.
And it will feature songs:
I don''t know about you, but I'm checking this thing out. ^^

i like to believe that the dairy industry, aware that most people drink milk anyways and pretty much convience that after some of their later "marketing attempts" it really doesn't matter WHAT they spend their advertising dollars on are just screwing around to see what kind of crazy things they can get away with.
i'm waiting for them to start offering to retrofit select markets to make them earthquake, fire and flood proof in exchange for mounting a big brass con permenently on the roof. that'll be awesome.

Sounds about right. It will be aired online on the link I provided in the first post. It's not on yet but they're airing a trailer for the coming attraction.
I couldn't find this trailer elsewhere to embed here but I found this interesting promotional video instead.
Apparently the gotmilk? advertisement campaign has been playing with this White Gold character.
Here's an ad they made with him
and here's a whole website dedicated to him.
P.S. Whatever you do. Do NOT start the photo shooting session. You have been warned.
Those were my two cents.

Is it just me, or does "White Gold" look like Hugh Laurie of "House" fame? ;)

Still love him in A bit of Fry and Laurie best of all. ^_^

This milk guy is awesome.
Milk is awesome.
Everyone should drink milk!
Have you got milk?
Boobs ^____^
lastcallNaw.. he's a little bug-eyed and narrow faced like Hugh, but not too much.

That looks like it might be funny, but I agree with Orin... nothing the Dairy council says can change the way milk fits into my life. I use in cooking and cereal and drink it on occasion, and that's never going to change.

Ok. I'm done watching this and I have to say I liked it.
I did some more research on the thing and according to this article the whole point of the movie was to promote art programs. Students now have a chance to recreate the scenes from the movie and the best ones will receive scholarship awards. The prizes will be a $20K scholarship for first place, $10K for the second place and 8 honorable mentions with $2.5K each.
It's called the Milkdonkulous Giveaway and I already posted a clip advertising it in one of my earlier posts.
